restaurant hana [browser]

And Tesshi-e is back with a second new escape the room games. The chef prepared an escape game for you in Restaurant Hana before your dinner is being served.

I've been waiting for one of these to show up again - yay!
Pff..I feel completely out of practice, though....I'm getting nowhere fast!

The NEWS clue is very obscure. Tough one right near the end. Liked it very much.

Got different ending from the Youtube walkthrough. Maybe it depends on the order you put the three squares in the box?

seems to have a bug.

under the lower hole I see some pliars. When I close up, they are gone....

Anybody has the same issue?

Yes, several bugs:
- pliers are visible when they shouldn't be
- hana cat panels are visible as if they're already in place after you've only put one

The music and the style of the room are also weird. This one seems like way below the usual quality.

I read on Tesshi-e's Twitter that the bugs should now be fixed

FYI, I just now finally got around to playing through (on Chrome), and I had no problems, so everything I guess is okay bug-wise.

The game worked fine for me as well.
The clues were logical & well placed.
Except for the 4 digit, 3 item, 2 row, some rotated clue!
I came up with several logical, but wrong answers.
Who looses points when I have to use a walk-through?
I never figured out the logic you used.

Did this without assistance, usually Tesshi-e baffles me at least once.

Ed Murphy -- how familiar are you with Tesshi-e? There are usually two endings, depending on whether you get the gold coin or not. Typically (and in this one also) once you first unlock the door, you need to go back and look for a changed clue and solve another puzzle for the gold coin and the bonus ending.

Of course, it's possible there's something else going on, I've only done this one once myself.

A soft hint ... Happy Coin is achieved by looking by resolving a previous puzzle

The Mild Escape website says (at least Google says it says ... translations are a little off I suspect
)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This site (Mild Escape) is using Yahoo! Geocities, but it ended at the end of March 2019. In order to continue Mild Escape, you must move to find a new provider.
On the other hand, although Mild Escape No.1 to No. 116 games are created using Adobe's Flash, this will be deprecated in 2020.
Currently, moving the site is under consideration, but in any case the games of No. 1 to No. 116 will be closed at the end of March 2019.
Although I also thought about rebuilding with the current method, I gave up considering the large number and damage situation of the original file etc.
I am sorry to have tried hard to create any game, but I can not do it.
I thank you for playing with many people for a long time. Thank you very much.

Stunning to say the least. I'd give him free hosting if it would keep him making more escape games. Best Wishes to Tesshi-e, and here's hoping he's not gone for long.

@Anon re: the 4 digit, 3 symbol clue. You may not see this, as it's been a week, but just in case: there are three symbols which represent three objects around the room that have drawings on them. Imagine the drawings are the top and bottom halves of digits on a digital clock, you have to line up (and rotate) the drawings to form 4 digits.

If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.
