2015 top 10 web games

The year is coming to an end and it's a tradition here at bontegames to make a list of my personal top 10 free browser games of the year. There was plenty of choice but below are the games that were released in the browser this year that I enjoyed playing the most. So fire up your favourite browser for the bontegames 2015 top 10 web games!

10. Monstrous mini mazes by Alan Hazelden
A monstrous and tough puzzle by the maestro of puzzle games, Alan Hazelden. (original post)

9. 0h n0 by Martin Kool
Martin made another addictive simple logic game, this time stripping down Minesweeper to the bare essentials. (original post)

8. Grab them by the eyes by Terry Cavanagh
A game about creating the flashiest sign to lure customers to your food stand, really? Really! (original post)

7. Room d by Kotorinosu
An escape the room game carrying the sleek and stylish Kotorinosu quality mark. (original post)

6. Tough love machine by Andrew Morrish
Wiggle your arms to move the hearts together in this clever puzzler, put your hands together for Andrew! (original post)

5. Weave by Nadav Tenenbaum
A moving experience about two characters who are both trying to cope with a shared event from the past. (original post)

4. Cube escape: seasons by Rusty Lake
Rusty Lake created a whole new surreal point and click series this year and this game was the start of it. (original post)

3. There is no game by Kamizoto
No need to click or tap anywhere cause there is no game, and certainly do not laugh as there is nothing to laugh about. (original post)

2. Submachine 10: the exit by Mateusz Skutnik
A fabulous closing of the submachine point and click saga by Mateusz Skutnik that started ten years ago. (original post)

1. Elements by Neutral
A point and click tour-de-force, an escape the room game grand cru, it's my personal number 1 browser game of 2015, bravo Neutral! (original post)

That's it for my personal favourites of 2015. What were yours? Feel free to add your own top in the comments below!

From the bontegames side, there were 4 new games that hit your browsers in 2015:
sweet drmzzz, sugar, sugar 3, where is cat? and christmas cat
and 2 new games hitting your mobile devices:
Tap tap tap iOS - Android and Where is cat? iOS - Android

I hope you enjoyed this list and I'm wishing you a merry Christmas and a very very happy happy 2016! This was @BartBonte, digging through all this year's browser games, for bontegames dot com!

Well thank you this year again for this list. My personal overall is "There is no game", a wonderful unusual one !

Good list. I was thinking that Neutral's Elements HAD to be number one. I still think that is by far the best escape game I've ever played. The depth and scope was just astounding.

Totally agree with your number one choice. I've come back to play it several times just to enjoy the ambitious visuals and well conceived puzzles. Can only hope Neutral is generous enough to give us another in 2016. Happy New Year!

Superb list! This is also the only year-in-review list I care about and wait for.

Neutral hit a grand slam this year and deserves #1!

Thanks, Bart, for all you do, and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

An excellent choice, especially the no.1, of course. Neutral has always been inspiring me with his humorous ideas. Congratulations!
