the bontegames 2017 top games

The year is coming to an end and it's a tradition here at bontegames to share with you a list of my 10 favourite free browser games that I posted during the year. Since I started posting mobile and downloadable games as well on the bontegames blog, there is more than one list this year!
Well I really couldn't decide on a ranking this time (sooo many good games) so the lists are in alphabetical order. Okay, getting excited yet? Let's go! Fire up your favourite browser, cause here are my favourite 10 browser games of 2017:

2017 was a special year for the bontegames blog: it was the year the blog turned 10 years old and it was also the year I started covering mobile and downloadable games, so of course I made some top lists for those games as well.
First up, my favourite 3 paid mobile games of 2017:

Cosmic express by Alan Hazelden and friends
Plan the train route for the world's most awkward space colony. (original post)

Push by Michal Pawlowski and Maciej Targoni
Push all the buttons, if you can figure out how to do it. (original post)

Reigns: Her Majesty by Nerial

Next up, my 3 favourite free mobile games of the year:

Cube escape: the cave by Rusty Lake
Descend deeper and deeper into the surreal world of Rusty Lake. (original post)

My brother ate my pudding by Hap Inc
Hide yourself because you just ate your sister's cake. (original post)

TypeShift by Zach Gage

And finally, my 3 favourite free downloadable games of 2017:

Constellation by Terry Cavanagh
Just type stuff and see what happens. (original post)

Fragments of Euclid by Antoine Zanuttini
Explore and solve puzzles in a mind-bending Escheresque environment. (original post)

Yurei Station by Atelier Sento

That's it for my personal favourites of 2017. I'm looking forward to read yours in the comments.
I managed to create 3 new games myself this year: Yellow, Song for a bird and Boo! and I'm full of exciting new ideas for next year. So I hope to see you back in 2018.
I'm wishing you all a very very happy happy 2018! This was BartBonte digging through this year's games for bontegames dot com!

Agreed 100% on Big Ice Tower--that may be a perfectly designed 2-D platformer.

And I sank a depressing amount of time into the paperclip game.
