daruma cube [browser]

You are locked in a tiny room filled with daruma dolls this time. Solve all the puzzles to escape Daruma Cube, another new escape the room game by Nicolet.

Well, these have all been out for Android (maybe IOS too, but I don't pay attention to that) for a while. For some reason they're just now making web versions available, so I guess we can expect to see quite a few more come out in the coming weeks.

Difficulty uptick alert. Is it me or is this one noticeably harder than the last couple? Good though. Some of the color stuff gets a little dicey IMHO. Too many of the colors around the room are too similar. Also, that narrow rectangle game frame (meant, I presume, for cell phones) is still weird.

Out.
As difficult as the first two in my opinion - the 4x4 square puzzle, however, is not so obvious. A hint would be welcome. The others are ok - don't forget to check items.

This was released back in 2017? Is this supposed to be new? or just a new post?

@Anonymous I think you are referring to the Thimbleweed Park post? I have updated the description. Yes Thimbleweed Park was released in 2017 but I posted it now because you can get it for free now for a limited time.

No, the walk through on you tube says Daruma Cube, published on March 31, 2017 by user Blue Frog. Nothing about Thimblewood anywhere. Here is the link...

I finally figured it out, but this one seems to be a bit more disjointed than the others. The colors don't make a lot of sense at first, and the shapes that seem to match with one puzzle actually don't. The biggest hangup for me was the grid puzzle. I didn't think it was obvious that I already had the clue to that (in plain sight), and I spent a lot of time trying to find the next step instead of just solving that grid. Once that's done the rest of it kind of cascades and you realize what all the shapes and colors actually correspond to.

There is nothing "in plain sight" that acts as a clue to that grid. It wasn't remotely obvious.

I finished & then took another look at my notes.
Because I never used the alphabet grid clue.
It just so happens that the 5 ground colors work.
Because "c" is the same as "i" as a color place.

Thanks to your comments on the grid I was able to get started.
I had to rethink almost every puzzle this time.
I never had so many clues crossed out on my notepad.
Still it was workable & fairly fun.
Can't wait to try hatcube.

Fun one, though wished they'd used a wider variety of colors for different puzzles. Didn't recognize the battery compartment for what it was until I found the battery! The light puzzle lead me astray for a bit, making me wish for the 'you don't have what you need to solve this puzzle yet' type msgs you get with other escape games. Still, looking forward to the next. Thanks, Bart!

I just cannot figure this one out. I cannot figure out the solution to the purple and green boxes for the life of me. For the purple box the colors of the only matching shapes I can find don't work and while I'm pretty sure the 5x3 grid in the one cabinet and the stacked colors with the "eyes" are part of the solution for the green box I can't figure that one out at all.

@shorty82: Both the purple box and the green box require the status of the related items to change. Only then will the correct colors be revealed. What items do you already have?

@MRK: Thanks, your comment gave me the hint I needed to figure where I was stuck and escape.

If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.
