Wow, am I stuck. Can't seem to figure the TV code. Anyone know the secret?

Anonymous said...

And what about the calculator al the box code?

Sonic said...

Look at the back of the tv remote for a clue to the box code

Sonic said...

Got box open, but stuck there.

Thijs said...

I'm having trouble figuring out the boxcode.

Sonic said...

For the box code: think of the TV numbers and colors as coordinates.

Thijs said...

Spoiler (boxcode)

Oke, I've got it. Say, yellow 301, means the top left box, which is 7 on the calculator and the left middle box, because of the color yellow, which is 4 on the calculator. so 74

a=301(yellow)=74
b=102(cyan)=23
c=202(green)=59

INO=...+...*...=A+B*C

But it actually is (74+23)*59=5723

Add this in the box, zoom out and open it.

I'm out, but there's another door. When I go through it says:

"You didn't need me..."

Then another number pad.

Any ideas?

Thijs said...

My guess would have been the numbers we didn't use. 6 and 8, or 1, 6 and 8 if you don't include the boxnumbers. But that doesn't work either.

Sonic said...

I wonder if it has to do with the letters and symbols that appear when you push the subtract and the divide keys on the calculator.

Thijs said...

Ehh, not sure how I did it, I went back to the room again, might have had 1,6 and 8 selected. fooled around with the calculator, went back and the second door was open.

Thijs said...

Tried again, you do have to take a step back again after selecting the right numbers and then try to open the second door a second time.

Sonic said...

Yep, that did it. Good end!

Thanks Thijs. I wrecked my brain with this for an hour.
Thank you!

where is the remote?

GilaB said...

You almost certainly have it. It's the electronic gizmo with wires and computer chips in it, in which you place two 5V batteries.

SPOILER

The second door.

You used all of the numbers from the calculator to solve the apple code, except 1,6 and 8. The other ones were used in A=74, B=23 and C=59. Press 1,6 and 8. Go back. Then go through the end door again to get the good ending.

Ok. I have the apple on the hook from the coat rack. Need help with:
1. How to use this item.
2. Opening the red box next to the door.
3. Dealing with the 'lever' to the right of the door.

Thanx in advance

Can't find second battery!! PLEASE HELP!

OK, found second battery, but can't reach it. Ack! What do I do?

My first ever crack at a walkthrough, I hope it helps:

1. Turn right, click plant and take 5V battery. Click Back.
2. Turn right again, click under chair. Take Remote. Click Back.
3. Turn right again to face counter. Click red carpet. You are now facing the number boxes with colored bits in them. Take screwdriver on right.
4. Click green cabinet under the counter. Click left wine bottle and take coin.
5. Click top of green cabinet and take metal piece. Click back three times to face counter again.
6. Click right to face door. Click yellow thing on wall. Use metal piece on the hole. Click back to face door again.
7. Click right to face TV and click the long bar on the left wall. Click the screw at the bottom, then use the red coin on the screw. Click back and take wooden bar.
8. Click back to face TV again. Turn right to face chair.
9. Click the stand left of the chair. Click below the top hook to zoom in on a screw. Use screwdriver to remove screw. Click back and take the top portion of the stand. Click back again to face the chair.
10. Turn right to face the counter. Notice the object near the ceiling on the right. Use the wooden stick to take the object. It is the other 5V battery.
11. Zoom on remote and put both batteries in. Notice a white arrow appears at the bottom right of the remote. Click it to view the back of the remote, which is a clue to the upcoming number puzzle.
12. Close the zoom and turn right twice to face the TV. Click on the TV to zoom in, then use the remote on the TV.
13. You will then see BIANCO, followed by INO = + x =, then:
A = 301 (yellow)
B = 102 (cyan)
C = 202 (green)
14. Click back and turn right twice to face the counter. Click the red carpet to face the number boxes on the wall. Think of the number boxes as buttons on the calculator and use the hint on the back of the remote to translate A, B and C, as follows:
A = 74(301 is 7 and yellow is 4)
B = 23(102 is 2 and cyan is 3)
C = 59(202 is 5 and green is 9)
15. The equation then is BIANCO: B(23) + A(74) x C(59) = . Click back to face the counter and click on the calculator.
Punch in 23+74x59=, which should produce 5723.
16. Click back and click the yellow box, put in 5723, then click back, then click below the top edge of the front and the box should open. Take apple.
17. Combine hook thing and apple.
18. Click back and turn right to face door. Zoom on yellow thing and hang hook with apple on it. Click back, then zoom on red box and open it to take key. Click back, then zoom on door and use key. Click back, then click door to open and go through door.
19. You are now facing a door that says The end, but it’s not. Click the door to reveal “You didn’t need me…” and another set of numbers. Click the numbers you didn’t use on the calculator 1, 6 and 8. Then click back to face the door again, then click the doorknob again to see an open door. Click it to get Good End!
