This is the first time I've done this!

Well, I got a mushroom ending. Apparently there are multiple endings.

It was quick enough that I played through to find the other endings. The obvious ways to go lead to three different bad ones, which left me feeling a little cheated (although otherwise I liked it as a nicely creepy little platformer). Anyone find a good ending, or is that it?

I played through a few times as well, and I can't find a fourth ending, no. Basically, from the ADMIN room, you can go up+left, up+right, or right+down, resulting in what I would describe as the "bang," "family," and "Dr. G" endings, respectively. There doesn't seem to be any other directions you can head.

Anyway, good game. Depressing, but good. :)

First as Usual.

Kinda boring. March must be a really slow month for new and interesting games.

The games does not start (when I press beginn)

Is this on purpose, am I doing sth wrong?

A really great and memorable game. I found it interesting all the way through and the ending was haunting.
Just shows, if the imagination behind a game is good enough there's no real need to complicate things

I think it's a nice game but I think it is sad that every single ending is a bad one. One happy ending would be nice - you know, girls always love happy endings!

Bartfan is exactly right!

stuck in 'pitifall' how annoying

Very cool game. I got the mushroom ending and then the Dr G ending. I did not want to play through a 3rd time.

I like it although didn't find this one very fun. It seems like you need to backtrack alot. The walkthrough is quite helpful.

Also, where is Minoto? I've been looking forward for a new game from him. I'm not sure where he is located. I hope that he isn't where the earthquake was.

The world blows up. The doctor kills himself. You find out you are unstable and killed your family ending up in a hole.

Let the good times roll.

Anonymous said...

@ Fitz,

How do you get the three diferent endings?

Anonymous said...

I got the ending where the doc kills himself. How do I get the others?

Anonymous said...

It needs a level select option. You can get to all of the endings from the "Admin" level. I really don't want to have to go through all of that again to get the other two endings...

Good game, quite sad, actually! No happy endings anywhere! After the first ending, I was about to give up when I saw that I would have had to restart the game in order to get the other endings, but since they were just three... I went on! :)

Anonymous said...

good, but creepy!
i definetly would have liked at least one haoppy ending. the doc ad the family endings creeped me out!

Coffeeteamix said...

yeah, maybe not a level select, but @ least allow the "continue" button after you've found 1 ending.. so that you can go find the other endings with all your skills intact?

i got the dr. G ending I think and don't think it's worth it to replay just to find others, especially since they're all bad, so no sense of accomplishment... and i was a bit like "what? that's it? what happened?" when it ended ^^;;

Re: Minoto

Don't know how he's doing, but on his site (http://mac.rash.jp/games/dasyutu/), there IS an update in the news section after the earthquake. My Japanese is horrible, so I don't really know what it says, but appears to be listing some donation options. Assuming Minoto updates the site himself, then at least we know he's alive and had access to comp @ some point =3 If not, then I don't know... at least the news isn't that Minoto is gone...??? but then again, maybe there's important info in one of the sentences that I didn't understand ^^;;;

According to Google Translate, the relevant portion of the Minoto website says:
"On northeastern Pacific Ocean earthquake
We sincerely sympathy everyone was affected.
I pray for the recovery and reconstruction as soon as possible.
I will place it on a donation has been
I hope you refer to when a donation."

(Their Japanese might need work too, but it's better than the babel fish version or any attempt I might make!)

It's a shame that it took such a drastic event to finally stop minoto and his crazy games.

That comment was uncalled for, anonymous.

It strikes me badly that Minoto is actually a real person (in Japan) and the last Anonymous maybe not.

I agree with Carly.
