Nice one, nice and quick.

Is there only one ending? I never did use the musical cactus for anything.

Jack said...

My House Is Your House

Jack said...

Thanks deCarlo

A bit of a brainfart there on those clues.

Anonymous said...

it is 'mi casa es su casa' and not the one used in the game.

Anonymous said...

I'm stuck on the safe clue and was doing so well up to that point...HELP!

Anonymous said...

decarlo I'm presuming the "strawberry" you are talking about is a red pepper...

Anonymous said...

Now I am craving burritos and guacamole... Cute game!

Not finding a safe...help to find second ending?

Anonymous said...

The alternate ending has to do with the cactus on the wall. After you get the key from the drawer for the door you can click under it and there is a code on how and where to click the cactus to get the other ending. Unfortunately I have not been able to figure out how to click on the cactus to get the alternate ending.

Emma said...

OK, I have not been able to figure out how to use the code on the window. I've tried clicking on them and it doesn't work. Is there any of my fellow Bonte players to help me in my plight?

Anonymous said...

Emma: it is not how many times you press it, but the number of the order down
1L 1R
2L 2R
3L 3R
4L 4R

To Anon 16:28:

The numbers in the clue for the alternate ending refer to the 4 musical parts of the cactus picture, from top to bottom.

Jack said...

Japanese escape game "logic" is lost me compared to others.

Screws in posters and fruit, using a shot of tequila to turn on the stove, etc...some clues are clear, most are random acts of clicking.

FIRST one EVER solved without using help! Woot ME!!!

Emma said...

Thank you, Anonymous. :-)

Cactus picture: Top is 1, next "branch" is 2, and so on...

Anonymous said...

I was confusing the crap out of myself thinking that I had to go clock wise on the cactus branches but now see that the highest is one the next highest is two and etc.

Yay! I got the Saboten end and the secret Cancun end! (With a little help, of course. #^_^#)

Escaped! Thanks for sharing Bart

Carly said...

Did it all by myself :) Except for the Cancun end, which I can do without. Nice game, Bart. Thanks :)

Anonymous said...

I feel proud of myself for doing this on my own... x_x
Trying for the other end now.

Anonymous said...

Because changing the picture you have on your wall TOTALLY changes what it looks like outside...

Anonymous said...

absolutely can't find the cactus code...where IS it? what safe? yellow key? under the yellow key? Grrr

-k said...

@ anonymous 2:14:

The gray safe. It looks like a gray/silver box.

Anonymous said...

Got it, thanks!

Anonymous said...

What am I doing wrong? I can't combine items at all...I have a frying pan, and a tortilla, but I can't put the tortilla IN the pan.

Ive tried "about item" on each, then using the other item on the "about" screen. I can't put the pan down on the stove empty.

Same thing with the tequila/glass/pepper.

Dear Bart,
If you need a game, how about "Jumping Finn" on www.cartoonnetwork.com? It's a bouncing game, you know, take character as far as possible, upgrade, etc., but I thought it was fun. You might want to try it out, too!
Sincelery,
