I don't understand the fun of saying "first", just to be the first posting a comment.

WALKTHROUGH:

1.Look at hints on door, doormat and wall

2.Open top of pole. Remember doormat hint and push squares from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5…. (not in order but in the direction) Number the squares from 1 to 16 left to right then push 1, 5, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 12, 11,10,6,2,3,4,8,7.

3.Go back and remove top

4.Open next riddle. Click red/white/blue button and go all the way back. Look at the pole and see in the blue line “ABCD” and in the red line “EFGH”. Back to riddle.

5.In top (blue) line is first and third square marked. So use the letters A and C. In bottom (red) line is second and fourth square marked. So use the letters “F” and “H”. From left to right the code is AFCH.

6.Remove screw and go back.

7.The direction to turn the knob is shown in the words below. First letter is “G” G is in right, so click the right arrow, second letter is “I”, so click rIght again, next letter is “R” so click Right again, next letter is “L”, so click Left…. Solution is RRRL LLRL.

8.Remove screw, go back and click for next riddle

9.The letters are numbered 1 to 4 like the paper on the wall. To figure out the letters, you have to cut out the shapes and put together so that the symbols match. Solution is JFUT.
10. Remove screw, go back and click for the final riddle.

11.Click the bomb-cover and remove it.

12.Look at the numbers and remember the hint on the door. 123123 looks like BARBAR and 45657 looks like SEVEN. So 1=B, 2=A, 3=R, 4=S, 5=E, 6=V, 7=N. So 1357=BREN.

13.Turn screw and stop the timer. Click timer, remove screw, click 2 times and you have dismantled the barber pole.

#2 of the walkthrough makes no sense to me. Don't push in order, but the direction?
No idea what this means.

@jodi for #2: just click on all the squares from 1 to 2, then from 2 to 3 and so on..

this is what i get for complaining that the last couple of these were too easy. totally didn't understand the "why" of almost every puzzle.

These really are some of the best puzzle games I have ever played. The logic to them is always deceptively right in front of your face. I feel like an idiot for getting so hung up on the first puzzle, but this was sweet nonetheless!

Another great dismantlement!
I think the barber pole is the second most absurd thing to dismantle after the hamburger! :D

Think I am getting the hang of these dismantlement games! Only needed one hint as i got stuck on the combination lock. Great Game Bart! You have a great community here. Thanks to whoever posted the walkthrough.

I had no clue what that was all about. I had to use the walkthrough.

The first puzzle was the only one that really stumped me. After that they fit the normal logic that these seem to operate on.
