I just started and have no idea what to do. I have a stone bird and a battery. Feels very annoying, it's not at all obvious what you can interact with. I can enter the house but there doesn't seem to be anything to do inside.
The mouse cursor changes when you move over things you can interact with. For the stone bird, you will need to find something else to make it useful. I don't think you enter the house, it's just your view through the window.
The problem is that the environtment is too cluttered of things that are completely uninteractable, they fill the scene and draw attention to themselves. Meanwhile the actual important items barely contrast with the things around them, so they're hard to see. Clicking on the windows makes a sliding sound before the transition, so if it's supposed to just be the view and not actually crossing, there is a mistake in the sound design.
Yeah, gave up on this one after a while. I made it to the ladder, but then couldn't figure out where I was allowed to put it. (The tip to see where the mouse cursor changes was the only way I got as far as I did though. Otherwise I was just blind clicking, which didn't feel very satisfying.)
Gave up at the car puzzle. This one is frustrating to navigate. Items that look important actually aren't, hitboxes for clickable areas are very small and despite how detailed the environment is, there's a lot of useless space.
Agree with others. Escape games should not involve pixel hunting. That takes away from the experience in a hurry! Remove the clutter and just leave the items you can interact with.
Haven't played yet but love me some escape game. Came here to post this b/c I thought you all might enjoy it, it's pretty fun https://digitarium.itch.io/lockpicks-11

Nice game! Put the ladder on the logic place! From there you can continue. I'm stuck with the 'cars hint' but thats only a matter of time...

Cirkill posted a video walkthrough in the comments if you're stuck
I watched the video to see where to click, most of the logic was fine I guess.
Not sure why lockpicks-11 was recommended.
