This is so cute, and I love the concept! Definitely my favorite browser game I've played in a while.

I am stuck. I have a hand, 2 kangaroo heads, left and right arrows, a bouquet, and some blue wildflowers. I can't figure out what to do next. Also, for some reason, I can't interact with the mother kangaroo. Help?

Completed one ending, never got the shop and never satisfied the big bear. But there was very little logic and just a whole lot of trial and error! Basically you have to try every response on ever character (don't forget the girl) and then when you got a response go back to the characters and try that new one. Not for me...

Here is the walkthrough but I'm more confused after watching it:

The game was pretty creative. There is some logic for the bear, you need to be able to return the kangaroo and it will give you the cake symbol, which can be used on the bear.

Does this game actually work? It's super cute, but the interactions seem totally random, and after a while nothing I do (tried every sign on every character) don't work. The walkthrough above doesn't match what happens in my game.

Why is the icon list limited to 10?
That walkthrough has no 💐 or ☕.

I feel so dumb, took 5 mins to figure out how to select.

Agree with Unknown above, too much trial and error.

However, on a second playthrough things clicked, and the conversations started making sense. For example a common interaction, after you've picked up a symbol like ice cream, is to send "ice cream", to which the response is "ice cream ?", and you then respond with the left or right arrow directing them to the ice cream cart.

Well, I got through it, but it was mostly just trial and error; I still don't really understand what was going on. If there had been more "words" to learn and use, I doubt I would have finished it.

Ugh! I just discovered that it doesn't save your progress. Not worth it.

What a shame, such a cute game but for me impossible to play.
It makes no sense.

It does actualy make sense, they ask questions, you learn words, you answer them. The second ending is kinda cheap tho. Took me a while to understand but when you get it it's like OH YEA, that makes sence.

I know I am a late post that nobody's going to read but...
I am curious if this is a gender gap game.
Do kids who use emotes & picture grams all the time get this quick?

Do you mean "generation gap", like young vs old? "Gender gap" would mean like men vs women.

My guess would be that people who seek out casual puzzle games are probably pretty good with a variety of ways of gathering clues, so I'm sort of skeptical that mainstream cultural trends would have any bearing, but I don't have any actual data one way or the other.

Figured it out eventually, I thought the darker kangaroo head was another child I had to find, I didn't realize it was the mom!

I think they changed the game and broke it. I can't get the lady to tell me what kinds of flowers she likes.

I'm so confused how do you select things? I tried dragging, clicking, pressing every button on my computer, but I'm still stuck.

Not sure about the rest of the comments; I found this cute and simple. Did everything in about 10 minutes and was never confused. Cute stories!
