panel room [mobile]

Kotorinosu have released a new escape the room game for mobile. In Panel Room you are trying to escape by solving the rules of the room and as you progress, little by little, the whole picture of the room will be revealed. You can download this free mobile game from the Apple app store or the Google Play store.

There seems to be a bug... I've figured out the code but the drawer won't open. I confirmed the code by double checking the hint. Not sure what's wrong.

Ah... it wouldn't let me enter the code because I hadn't found one of the items yet. Now it works.

Is there a trick to using the pencil sharpener?

You can turn the sharpener around...

you need something else before you can use the sharpener

That was great! Inventive format, clever game mechanics, and a reasonable set of puzzles/solutions.

I had problems with the math : we learn A*(B+C)

The idea of the « extra » works really well: a second game within the same room, with similar items but different mechanics and clever interactions with the first game. Well done!

cool concept but pretty counterintuitive, I didnt like it

@Elwee, where did you learn to do sums ahead of products?

@StevensMiller : you are right, I was confused

Too bad kotorinosu is not making games for the pc - only mobile now it seems. I enjoyed all the games I could play on the PC like, The Treasuer, mimic, exit I & II, etc. I don't use a smart phone and I'm not buying one just to play escape games.

@Anonymous, I feel your pain. I much prefer PC to mobile. Alas, mobile is the dominant platform right now.

Consider a Galaxy Tab A (aka "SM-T580"). I have one and I pretty much only use it for games. As a circa 2016 product, it's a very low-power tablet by current standards. But it's more than adequate for Kotorinosu's games.

Tab A's are dirt cheap (~US$40) on eBay. It's also kind of fun and a great alternative to lugging a laptop on short trips. I can download a bunch of videos ahead of time so I have something to watch on the road, even if the local WiFi is dubious. If you do have WiFi, a lightweight keyboard makes it good enough to sub for your laptop when answering your email.

My US$0.02.

Has anyone played the extra? I don't understand which buttons are referred to in the hint of the stereo speakers.

Buttons that were used to cycle through Roman numerals.

the extra round felt pretty out there with some puzzle solutions, i had to use hints for what felt like every 3rd puzzle. the first round was great though really creative!

Nice! Awesome idea, great execution!

Interesting and creative - however many of the the "extra" part riddles are not really logical...
It seems obvious that the use of hints (or a walkthrough - there's one on Youtube...) is not an option...

If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.
