Not bad and more challenging than I initially expected. Some clever use of cross-scene effects, with what you do in one square making a difference in another. Also, I liked the puzzles that needed two steps to solve (that is, you "solved" the puzzle, but then it required a second solution to get the full effect of solving it).

This type of game always risks crossing the nonsense threshold, which is what happens when the effect of clicking a thing or solving a puzzle seems absurd. It's a hard line for the gamedev to see, because nothing in this kind of game actually makes any sense. But the player needs it to feel like it makes sense, which this game does.

Overall, a good first stage. Will be eager to try the next one.

I was feeling pretty stupid for a moment there. The game is too large for my screen, and I didn't realize there was a 4th room/panel. So I'm sitting with paper, wood, and matches....and no place to build a fire!

After I found the 4th room, I was able to sail through it. :)

Was cute, and I look forward to more in the series.

TICKed, I have to agree that it was too big. Even on my 1920x1080 screen, I had to go to full-screen mode in my browser to see the whole thing. That's a fairly common problem with a lot of games, which I guess is due to the gamedev thinking the player is using a tablet in portrait mode.

By holding ctrl & scrolling till the game was 67% I was able to play ok.

Very happy to see new ninjadoodle. In my browser, there was some ghosting, but once I found the right zoom level, the layers lined up properly.

What a fun, cute game! It was also deceptively simple. I really liked how actions in one scene could affect other scenes.

I was stuck on the color/number puzzle for at least five minutes before I realized that the lever on the fireplace toggles between number and color input.

Like others have mentioned, the game is very large. I had to zoom out considerably to fit the entire game window on my laptop's screen.

Looking forward to the next entry!
