That's it for my personal favourites for 2011. What were yours? Did I forget some really nice ones? Feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments!

2011 was also a productive bontegames year with no less than 4 new games that hit your browsers: Sugar, sugar, 14 locks, Factory Balls 4 and Sugar, sugar, the Christmas special. Watch out for more bontegames in 2012!

My favorite out of the list is Brother. I love all of them though. :)

I think Wonderputt should have been 1st and the I of it second, but all in all a pretty good list.

the I of it was really original! and since we all know how humble Bart is, I insist on including Sugar, Sugar into the 2011 hit games! ;)

Really cool list, I was looking forward to it all year! My favorite was The End Of us.

I'd like to include Factory Balls 4 as well; really love that :)
Brother was my favourite out of this list.
I also really liked Dibbles 2 - winter woes

Pam said...

Yes last Dibbles really rocked! another great game was about the robot and his cruel mum (don't remember the name)

The "I of It" I could not figure out. Can someone give me a walkthrough. I know that there is a visual walkthrough but I do better with word walkthroughs. Other than that I love the games on the list. My favorites are "One and One Story" and "Brother".

other games which i liked are: pursuit of hat, You are a box, Langman, and THE END was a super game. (by the way, the robot and mother game was called K.O.L.M.)

Fantastic list, Bart. Happy to have played through most of them with you over the year. I'd also have added several of your games to the top. Thanks for another great year of games!

Wow, I don't think I played any of these games. :(

I did play all of Bart's games, though.

I, personally, was a huge fan of "The I of It", and I was so happy to see it rank so high on this list. :)

Also, I LOVED Snailiad. Had me hooked for a while. Wish it could've ranked higher, though.

I played (and liked) all the games in this list, but my favourite ones are One And One Story, The I Of It and Wonderputt (it was GREAT!).

But I couldn't have played any of those games without Bontegames, so... THANK YOU, BART!!! "Buon natale e buon anno nuovo!" (Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Italy!) :D

Ana also Happy Holidays to all the timewasters from all around the world!! XD

Played 'em all, but didn't like 'em all. Not many of my favorites on this list.

I'm not a fan of puzzle platformers, but I do like escape games, removers, block puzzles, innovation and 'figure out the rules as you play'. Perhaps there should be a 'best' in each genre.

Bart's factory balls and sugar games are innovative, and deserve special mention.

Yes, keep up the good work. We need you.

aww. i am usually the 500000th 2 comment also. but it means " hello my name is (your name here) what do you call yourself?"

Anonymous said...

@A person
It's actually:
Bonjour, je m'appelle ________.
Comment t'appelles tu?
or Comment vous appellez vous?

Lilian said...

Wow, I usually agree with you on most of your choices. But this year I don't, hah. Probably because of all the platform games, which isn't usually what I love the most. :)
