amalgamate [browser]

Spawn treasures, merge weapons, kill monsters and keep merging and exploring in Amalgamate, created for 7DRL Challenge 2026 by sunil.

Clever twist on all those timewasting merge fruit/furniture/weapons games.

It's fun but a bit frustrating because I haven't figured out the strategy yet. Every time I clear the enemies, another one pops up! I just want a breather to combine my other items in peace instead scrambling for weapons and potions.

Highest score of 50 so far. Feel like I'm getting the hang of it.

Chest upgrade resets the spawn timer, combining monsters (with two different attack timers) delays the attack, which gives you time to focus. I only wish weapons spawned a bit more frequently or the grid was bigger because I often have a full grid with no weapons.

Part of the early strategy is to merge enemies, instead of just killing them. Though I wish enemy timers were a bit higher with harder ones, it makes it a rush the later you get into it.
