Yeah, I was very surprised that the trains recognise the forks in your track and take an aprropriate route towards their destination. So if you want to maximise those sweet, sweet leeks/minute you would want to make several paths for different pairs of stations, like if you have your loop 1->2->3->1 it might be shorter to have a path 1->3 branching out so the corresponding train's path is substantially shorter

It became clear after I resized my screen.
I never bothered with any signals, just reset randomly.
The way to win is to make one giant loop so long the trains never have a chance to crash, right? Fun game, deceptively simple.
Bonus points for making shapes, eg. a big cock. (oops I meant clock.)
Not if you want to increase the throughput of the net. Then you need better interconnection and signaling.
