I enjoyed this, takes some time to get into it, but nice one!
Afterall, it seems debatable whether the previous mentioned bug is a bug or just a part of the storyline...
Have now played the game a few times and I do like it, but the lengthy conversations keep me from going another time. Also, the medals cannot be seen as it's hosted from the bonte domain and not newsgrounds. A pity for this kind of game imho.
Having said that: excellent game!! Thanks for sharing it here :-)
there's actually three options/endings: to beat the game, to cheat the game or to escape the game. also, about the vial: talk to the green goblin at the first castle scene... maybe you can do something with the vial then.
I still don't know how to get the tears, but otherwise it's a cool game, I like the nostalgic feeling and the effort put into it. It's not that bad as the main character states it :D Awesome!
interesting idea - but for me it's too much talk - I prefer games I can speed up a little - the introduction seems endless - maybe I would give it another try when the conversations were much shorter
This game is absolutely great, the concept and storyline is so creative--once you see ending 1. I wish there were a way to skip to the end after you finish the game once, no matter which ending you get, so you can try all endings quickly. And I agree, the conversations are a bit long so there is quite a bit of reading, but I truly enjoyed the game and the overall plot twist. I'd give it 4.9999999999999 stars

Nice game, but lengthy to get up to speed. And I think I need to restart the game because of a bug.
spoiler bug:
I've used the vial already on yawn and gave it to the wizard. Now I connot collect tears anymore.
Sort of a Mad Magazine style of humor.
continuation of Anonymous 00:23's spoiler bug:
you can't collect tears once you use the vial on yawn, even if you don't give it to the wizard :(
Any way to kill the sound on this game?
Enjoying the humour so far...
@Iguanaman: i think you can do so in the settings (gear on the top left corner), no?
Bart - that is one choice, two options.

There's a way to legit beat the game? (Spoiler Alert)
After my sword didn't work on the bug, and then the gnome told me I actually couldn't gather all the ingredients, I assumed it was impossible.
you need something to "debug" the bug. something given to you by someone? ;)
Reminds me of the "good old times"...Sam & Max...Monkey Island...SWEP5...
This one took too long to get started for my tastes, and the "trapped in a game" gimmick felt a bit overplayed.
Huh. Ending 1: Such a plot twist. (Thanks for the hint Anon. @ 02:22)
On Anonymous 00:23 's bug:
Is there a way you could possibly duplicate your vile? ;)
You can finish the wizard's potion... more or less. You can definitely get the yawn and tears no problem, anyway. Great game!
