Finished it, but not without some help from a walkthrough. Nice game!

am digging in the sand by the shore. Where do I dig? Have dug everywhere and not found anything yet.

Not too hard. Some pixel hunting, but lots of clues. Better than some of his earlier ones. Never really got stuck.
Hints: the handle is on the sign; keep digging until you find that cackleberry; most of the rest are in open view except for the banana under the rock.
