where is cat? app update

Just a little post to inform you about the latest Where is cat? app update: the evergrowing collection of the Bonte cat adventures was just updated to version 2.5! The app is getting closer to how I wanted it to look, except of course it's still growing and every time I complete a new Bonte cat adventure (and there is one in the making) it will be added as a free update to the app! A couple of months ago I added a completely new Bonte cat adventure to my 'Where is cat?' app, and today I'm releasing that addition as a browser game, enjoy cat in japan! The Bonte cat has arrived in Japan and can't stop dreaming about sushi. Can you find all the sushi by solving all the puzzles?

New Bonte cat adventures will always premiere in the 'Where is cat?' app before they hit the browser, so it's still a good reason to get the app if you don't already have it and support future bontegames :) Thank you!

a new bontegame: christmas cat and a new mobile app

Hohoho, it's a fine tradition here at bontegames that I make a Christmas themed game every year so... ring those Christmas bells because... here's my new game Christmas cat! The Bonte cat jumps on top of the Christmas tree and sends the 20 red balls all around the house. Can you find all 20 balls by solving the puzzles?

And there's more bontegames news: I'm also launching a new mobile app today: 'Where is cat?'. The app is a collection of the Bonte cat adventures and contains for the moment my games 'Where is cat?' and 'Christmas cat' in HD graphics and excellent audio quality. where is cat? follow-up

Remember my last game where is cat? that I created together with my kids for the #oujevipo4kids contest? Well here's a little update: the game was selected as a contest finalist, which means it will now be touring France (and maybe other countries in Europe) together with the nine other finalists on custom made arcade machines!
The tour kicked off last week at the KulturMix festival in Dijon, where the jury price of the contest was awarded to the game Loup (congratulations 01101101!).

a new bontegame: where is cat?

Time for a new homemade creation! Here's my new game where is cat? created for the #oujevipo4kids contest. Two years ago I had a lot of fun creating off to work we go (which was selected as a finalist) for the first oujevipo game contest, so when I heard about the new oujevipo contest I was immediately excited.

This time the theme of the contest/game jam was 'kids' and the games had to be targeted to young kids (age 6 and older). Since one of the possible constraints of the contest was that the game had to be partly made by one or several children, I proposed to my own kids (aged 5, 8 and 10) to make a game together and they immediately loved the idea! We sat together for a brainstorm and also choose the 'playground' constraint, meaning the game had to be inspired by a traditional children's game and we picked 'hide-and-seek'.
So the concept for the game and the story comes from the children, but they also drew a lot of the individual graphics: a lot of the object that are in the rooms were drawn by them and then imported, processed, colored and combined on the pc. They also made the artworks that were scanned and are on the walls in the game. I hope you enjoy this Bonte family creation. The children are very proud of their game!
