furiosity, an update

Now that my mobile puzzler Furiosity was released three weeks ago, here's a little update. As you know Furiosity is now available in the Apple, Google and Amazon appstores. First of all I would like to thank everyone who already bought the app and for giving it such a warm welcome, because the average user rating is 4.9/5.0!
Here are some highlights of press attention the app already received: Indie game magazine reviewed Furiosity and rewarded it with a score of 85. Super Game Droid reviewed the app and called it a surefire hit and unique puzzler. Appstore Arcade called Furiosity a very intriguing indie puzzler. Furiosity was also reviewed on JayIsGames and the App Spy, and it was mobile pick on indiegames.com.
Some other bonte news: for the moment I'm busy making my usual Christmas game, ho ho ho! Expect a brand new free browser puzzle game, not a sequel to one of my games, but something new... so see you soon with a new bontegame!
Oh, one more thing, if you bought the Furiosity app and liked it, please please please please take a moment to leave a rating and/or review in the appstore! It would mean a lot to me! Thanks!

a new bontegame: furiosity

Big news today because the third bontegames app just went live: enjoy furiosity! After sugar, sugar and factory balls I have created a new puzzle app for Android and iOS phones and tablets. Furiosity started as a browser game for a game jam last year, but now it was completely redesigned for mobile with a lot more levels.
Strip away every layer of the game. Every level has its own logic. There are 144 levels! Can you solve them all?
Get it for Android or for iOS. Cheers!

a bit of news

A bit of bontegames news: remember my game Furiosity from last year? Well I'm proud to announce the game has been selected for Games Reflexions, an exhibition focusing on the interplay between reality and simulation. The exhibition takes place at the Center for Contemporary Art in Cergy, near Paris in France between October 18 and November 30. And some more news, but that you could have guessed: I'm working on a new game ...

furiosity gets a winner! winner gets a possibly amazing prize!

Today is indeed the big day I will reveal the winner and the prize of furiosity! Many people played the game and many people have completed the whole game. But only one person can win: the person who completed everything first, and that was merely two hours after the game was released. I also announced the prize would be possibly amazing for the winner, so Peter Molyneux, in case you still need some inspiration on what to put in your last Curiosity cubelet, please read along ;)
So bring on that drum roll, I will now reveal the winner of furiosity and the prize: The winner is Steven Buck from USA. Steven happens to make nice artistic accent lighting, so please have a look at his lamps here. And now that furiosity gets a winner, the winner gets into furiosity! That's correct, from today on the dreaded last level 40 is gone in the game and I replaced it with Steven. So that's the prize: the winner gets right into the very center of the game! Now isn't that possibly amazing?

a new bontegame: furiosity

Yes, that's correct, I'm presenting my new game today! This is a bit of a special game since the idea to make this one came to me only a week ago and the game was made in a couple of days. The game was built for this game jam, centered around the theme of making a game in a genre you hate.
If you follow the mobile apps world, you will certainly have heard about 'Curiosity', the pseudo-game by Peter Molyneux where everyone is tapping blocks away from a giant cube with the purpose of clicking away the very last block, and to find out what 'life-changing amazing' thing is inside.
Some people think 'Curiosity' is a genius social experiment, others think it promotes mindless idiocy.
Anyway, it made me create Furiosity on a whim, or what Curiosity would have been if it was actually a game.
Strip away every layer of the game, not mindlessly, but by logical thinking and in the end the first person to solve every level will win something possibly amazing... And maybe that one person is you!

If you are you looking for a solution or a walkthrough for one of the game links, please have a look in the comments.
