So annoying! Rage quit.

I found a shovel and can dig a hole, fill in a hole, and put the shovel down. No idea what I have to do next.

The comments on the game page are singing it's praises but I would have to disagree.

You can transplant trees to clear a path, but that hasn't gotten me anywhere.

Dig up rock, plant, tree & replace elsewhere.
Getting your self through a corner requires digging a hole for your shovel.
Explore without it & pick it up from another side.
Still can't get too far, or even to a grave.

Here's a link to a map I pasted up - not complete, but everywhere I've gotten so far: https://imgur.com/a/uR2Dj5G I got to the grave in the very top right, dug around, found a flower that I could transplant there. Still don't know what the goal is. And when I went back to the game just now, I was disappointed to realize that it hadn't saved my progress.

Glad I'm not the only one, was beginning to think I was missing something obvious. Digging though the forest is ok, but the whole digging/replanting mechanics got old fast.

Have to agree with the comments here. The game has potential, but very unclear as to what you're supposed to do, and there isn't joy in discovering the mechanics of the game, just a level of tedium. Was able to get to 5 of the skulls and 3 or 4 of the roses, but felt uninspired when reading the comment on the site about the 50/50 guess.

It hasn't been easy for me, but I solved the puzzle. A bit unintuitive at first, but ultimately pretty clever once all the mechanics are put into play. A few hints (Rot13):
