Currently stuck on basement -2. If I could get rid of the 2nd key in my hand I could beat it...

Power of posting -- got it!

Oh, I get what I was doing wrong for basement-3 now. I didn't realize the other door was a "magnet is a key door"

Basement 9 is where I'm stuck now

Here, too ...

Basement 9:

Pickup on of the TOP keys.
Move the key left of the detectors to the bottom row.
Move 1 key to the bottom right.
Pick up the magnet.
Force 1 of the upper keys to the right top.
Get the keys on the bottom row, and move them up ( expect the one in the right bottom corner)

Get 3 keys above each other, 2 keys in the right corners,

Now you can walk to the Left bottom corner...

Thanks to you, I finally got it, bravo!

I don't get the "get the keys on the bottom row, and move them up..." bit. I have one in the lower right (just above entrance), one right below where the magnet was, one along the bottom on the left side, and two floating in the area to the right of the detectors. How do I get them on the bottom row and move them up???

Game complete, liked the ending

I'm still stuck - any hints for Basement 4?

Long Peter said...

Bill, if there are no floating left of the detectors,
attract the one on the bottom row and move yourself to the left side of it.
Then you can walk to the Left corner, and attract the top key.

What I mean with "get the keys on the bottom row, and move them u"
The keys on the left side ( 3 Keys) should be on the bottom row before picking up the magnet.
1 of the key should go in the right corner before picking up the magnet.
The other 2 keys you can attract with the magnet and pull them to the right side of the field.

For some reason, last few levels of Basement were the hardest and then Attic was a breeze. Great game with clever puzzles, one of the more enjoyable Sokoban style games.

Whoops!

Got stuck in the attic, where neither z nor r could back me out (never found a use for the x key). Nice game up til then, but seems I got myself in an oubliette of sorts.

Wild Guess: Pick up the box and walk trough the detector

I have been stuck on basement 8 for ages. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :)

Have to move the keys so that they are side by side against the right-hand wall, beneath the detector...

Long Peter said...

Pickup Magnet, Keep the left key left as possible.
Move the Right key to the right top corner ( between the 2 detectors )
Do not move (or push it straight back) the Right key and move left key one tile below the right key.
Then move the keys side to side. (most right inline with the entrance)

And walk you way out.

Basement 2 -- How?? I can't rid myself of the key and keep getting pulled by the magnet.

Squirrel said...

Ugh. Attic 7. It's easy enough to move the keys to the right, either above or below the magnets. I can of course move one of the keys down 2 steps towards the lock, but then I run out of blocks to keep it there for the final step past the bottom magnet.

Long Peter said...

Move they key used to stop the pulling 1 tile to the left
The other key next to it.

Now you can try to open the door from the Left side, and have space to return the second key

sorry wrong level...

Make A tetris piece. 2 crates with a key to the right, 2 crates below 1 tile to the left.
CCK
CC
Move the second key to the second magnet.
Now push the left crate down and you can use the crates to build a wall.
Move the key to the lock.

Can someone explain to me like I am 5 how to clear Basement 9?

Anonymous said...

I may be in the same spot (equally stuck on Basement 9). I can get the magnet to open the door at a distance, but then I'm stuck with the magnet, and I don't see how it's possible to exit out the top left without un-magnetizing oneself. I must be missing something obvious!

Anonymous said...

Of course 15 seconds after I post that, I cleared it. UGH!

Anonymous said...

Let's hear it for Attic-4. Help??

Anonymous said...

How about Attic-5?

Anonymous said...

I can't figure out Ground Floor-6??? Just want a hint on how to open the first push key door when all I can do is pick up a key vs move one

Anonymous said...

You might not be able create a block for the second key outright, but maybe it can create itself?

Squirrel said...

Thank you for help on the 2 levels that confounded me. Even though I didn't do it all myself, I simply loved this game.

Anonymous said...

lol, thanks Long Peter, I should have figured that out

Anonymous said...

Pick up the left of the bottom three keys. You can then move top keys around to allow the second row left key unlock first door.

Anonymous said...

Any additional help with attic 7?

Bill said...

thx, that made it clear

Bill said...

I sorta think I won? Basement 9 and attic 7 were by far the hardest levels...I think. But in the end I sorta skipped ascension 3 and dropped a gem on the floor, now all levels are marked as solved. Is that really the end, or did I screw up?

Urban Garlic said...

Same question as Bill -- I seem to have finished it, or at least there's nothing left to do. Hopefully there's only one ending?
