Is this made to be frustrating ?
The first level has to be solved & reset since the solution blocks all progress.
Then the "doorways are some kind of "choose your path".
Only each choice is from 9 random encounters I guess ?
I was expecting to make notes & or a map, not draw trial & error.

Currently stuck on four rooms: The Song room (I can't quite figure out how the jellyfish room numbers connect to the combo) The room with 2 dolphins and the red/green bowls, the Narwhal room, and the red/yellow pixels room.
I'm also stuck on the Song and Jellyfish rooms.
I've been able to bring all the colored blocks into the Pillar room but I'm not sure which one goes where
the red and green hoops are needed for the Narwhal room, and the Red/Yellow pixels solution relates to the Octopus
For the Pillar room, you just need all 4 red objects, colored blocks go into the eye room

Well done! I'm stuck at 10 pearls. I don't know what the turtles expect from me, there seem to be far too many purple and green fish, can't get them out... I tried feeding the whale whatever I could find to open its mouth, but it didn't work... I love my crab!
Can anyone give hints on general strategy? I see that different rooms have different numbers of entries, but haven't gotten anywhere on figuring out a layout or solving any rooms.
General strategy is to force certain rooms to appear to obtain what pearls you can, because it makes (most) other rooms permanently easier to traverse.
Some rooms need to be entered from all four sides before their puzzle can be solved. Other rooms need to be done in a certain sequence. The more rooms you have placed, the less options you get for placing more.
Force certain rooms to be placed in a certain order by ridding yourself of rooms you don't need in other places.
Still no progress figuring out the song room's code...
take a close look at the jellyfish tentacles when you finish that room

not used to needing the mouse for these games, I wouldn't recommend full screen, like looking at the forest with your forehead against a tree.
Stuck at 21, no more ideas for Orange fish, Green turtle, Octopus. Any hints, anyone?

I'm surprised I got to 22 pearls, but I can't figure out the octopus clue for the two pixel rooms, and I can only come up with 3 red objects(gem, pearl, fish) for the pedestal room. Can I get another hint?

I know *how* to do the shark rooms, the eyeball-looking room, and the "red items on pillars" room, but i can't actually solve them yet bc i don't understand how to do the green fish room or the purple fish room. i also have no clue how to solve the whale room. any hints?
okay actually i solved the green and purple fish rooms lol, or at least got their pearls. i also solved the red item room. i just need to solve the whale, eye, and two shark rooms. eye i think i can do, just need purple, but for the blue shark, does it need two red fish??

I feel stupid I can't finish because I haven't figured out how to solve the orange fish room, my last before sharks ... any help?

orange fish in the seaweed room: i actually completely forgot how i beat this one but it probably has to do with removing the seaweed, same way you do with seaweed elsewhere

well i definitely fed the gray shark the correct fish but nothing happened? imma rot13 what im pretty sure the fish are, if someone could confirm id greatly appreciate it b/c im at 23 pearls and only need the two sharks

also great game, tho i wish you could unlock the ability to choose any level instead of it being random every single time, maybe unlock it after like 10 or 15 pearls
