I don't understand what to do with the dog collar
You have to get something from a different picture to put it in the middle of the collar.
You have to align something before pressing the button (again)
Cool game - not too difficult even if the green square is not really easy to get !!

So that was the clue that helped me finish, Thanks very much!
Hmmm... almost all good, but the color contrast used to camouflage one clue is well below the visual threshold for a lot of people. No reason in a game of this kind to incorporate a feature that is going to cause problems for people who, as I do, have imperfect vision.
I got to the part with the color number combination, and have no idea how to even find the answers. blue was obvious, the rest not at all.

What do I do when the dog's hat is the only item I have left?
You need the dog's hat somewhere in the cactus scene...
There doesn't seem to be any place in the cactus scene to put the hat at all.
False alarm.
Now with the star thing on the dog's collar, where do I go from there?
