I'm sorry, but why do people that make puzzlescript games, leave them with such s**tty graphics! And don't say that's all you can do with that engine. There was a game showcased here one time (forget the name of it), and you'd never known it was puzzlescript. Graphics actually extended more than a single "box" and had detail. What a concept!!! Due to 99% of them looking like this, whenever I see a game that says puzzlescript, it's an automatic "pass" for me.
Ah yes, how dare the people making games for free in their spare time not put in more effort for you. They owe you so much, after all. Give me a break.
Took a few breaks to come back with a clear head and finished it. Loved the moment in Red 4 when I figured out the mechanic. Enjoyable puzzler.
I kinda understand Anon's complaint about graphics. "Sokoban minimalism" is the dominant post-Adobe Flash browser game aesthetic and after playing so many they just blend together. Puzzlescript games like Reduce Yourself, nuworm, paint everything everywhere, stick in my memory just because of the design.
That said, these games are free and custom art design takes a lot of time so I'm just grateful the online browser game environment is still alive in 2026.
Yes! Paint Everything Everywhere! is a really fun puzzlescript game & is my favorite one since it’s fairly unique because it’s not a block pusher game & instead is more like Ninja Painter from Coolmathgames.
I also hate these games, not because the graphics suck but because I always get stuck so quickly on some little trick. like on Scrolling 2: In order to move the ring the scroll bar gets stuck.
This is a interesting game.
ReplyDeleteWith more levels and variation then expected

ReplyDeletebecause not every developer cares remotely at all about graphics

Agree with the reply above.
DeleteNo need to add a comment if it's not constructive. And complaining about graphics is not constructive at all.

DeleteMaybe I'm missing something, but I'm not seeing how Red 3 is even possible in order to even get to Red 4.
DeleteNever mind, figured it out literally just after posting here.

ReplyDeletelike on Scrolling 2: In order to move the ring the scroll bar gets stuck.
That's why you have undo and restart buttons.
