Meh. Easy levels are easy, and hard levels are just an exercise in trial and error. Good puzzle games are hard to design, and this doesn't really cut it. Plus, there are a lot of basic UI issues. Constantly changing palettes is just annoying. There's a reset, but no undo, which makes the trial and error aspect even more frustrating. You can't click a piece again to deselect it -- you have to click outside the board or on an invalid destination instead. The "hint" button is really just "tell me the answer", when there could be a way to skip levels and come back to them instead...except that there's no level select, which is its own problem.
Fun game, but the palettes were killing me. The few times I clicked hint ended up being a problem where I couldn't see black pieces on a black squares, or similar problems on the red pallette.
When I finally was able to open the game, it didn't take very long to get through all 50 levels. The changing palettes were irritating and, in hindsight, not really an incentive or reward. It's not a game that I would revisit. It was fun at the moment.
For some reason it lags heavily for me. Seems to work for everyone else though.
ReplyDeleteAmusing one
ReplyDeleteGreat game!
ReplyDeleteinteresting game. on lv. 37 I had no pieces left, 1 piece & a bomb, & finally to pass the level I got the 1 piece. Take that Monkey D Luffy.

ReplyDeleteThe palettes were hard to look at. I kept going back to the first one. You can choose them on the left.
