boy goes to space
A short and dreamy game about a boy going to space: boy goes to space by Ryan Loader.
I'm not clear if I finished it or did something wrong. I got to the part with the colored explosions, but I'm not sure if I was supposed to hit them and make the beeping noise or not.
Very atypical but so poetic :) After having freed some marshmallows, you got to go up and up and up till you're thrown in outer space, floating with your arrows in between magic coloured kaleidoscopic fireworks. And then the author is telling you something. I liked it+++
I think even for a very short game it should have more sense, and a more proper ending. The colorful part burns my eye and I don't even know what's the goal there, I can't even gather points or keep track of my scores. It has nice music and I know short, dreamy games are not meant to be big deals, but this one is rather unfinished than short.
OMG!!! TWO firsts in a row!!!! This never happens, especially to me!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen it started over, I thought I did something wrong haha
ReplyDeleteStrange, but interesting.
ReplyDeleteWeird... I have to play that about five more times to understand it.
ReplyDeleteStrange. Odd. Weird.
ReplyDeleteEuronuats!
ReplyDeleteNot fun.
ReplyDeleteOw what a horrible game. It turned my headache into a migraine. Needs an epileptic warning.

ReplyDeleteOk what am I doing wrong? I can get the swing to go around just a few times then it slows down.
ReplyDeleteOh nevermind... I was making it way too hard!
ReplyDelete@Lulu: I was going to ask the same thing... then saw your post and realized I was making the same mistake. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI'm slow...how do you launch from the swing?
ReplyDeleteAnon 19:22 : same, LOL!
ReplyDeleteTo launch, press the buttons in a left, right, left, right manner.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of bugged me that marshmallow was misspelled as "marshmellow".
ReplyDeleteto launch, press left, right, ... but when you go over the top just keep pressing in one direction
ReplyDeletewhat do I do ? got to the coloured explosions bit but what do I do now!!!
