  1. Stuck/don't know where to go next. I learned the [crouch + damage] trick to get max height, did the whole righthand section (I think?), and now have 6 lives. But now I can't get back to the beginning because there's a tall green wall (5 blocks high) and can't reach the switch from this side.

    1. I think there should be somewhere else that you can now go 'up' - from memory it's where there are 2 damage blocks, a row of purple underneath them and a moving blue block on the right. Try to get up to the left.

    2. actually it's 2 damage blocks together then a damage over some purple, no blue block.

    3. How did you learn to get max height?

  2. Good one. It helps you find new mechanics when you need them for the first time, and then you can backtrack and use them again.

  4. What a funky little game. Managed to clip myself out of bounds a few times, but it was no real obstacle to reaching the end the intended way...which was a joy. I love games where you discover the mechanics, and this one was very well crafted to guide you toward them.

  5. Gone left, three lives but can't get over the purple insta-death. Anybody?

  6. I can't get back over the 4 purple death blocks either and I have 4 lives.

  7. I have 7 lives and not sure where to go next!!

    1. I have 8 and I'm blocked from going up by a green wall (and missing green steps), but no switch. So I also don't know where to find the switch.

We might be in a similar place. Have you figured out how to get the one in the high empty area on a screen with nothing else?

    2. Same area - 8 and not sure where to go with that blocked gree area with no switch

    3. FOUND IT! Go to where there are 5 horizontal purple blocks and a blue block floating back and forth. Get to the upper CP. Jump down to die on the purple blocks and the use the angel to float up to the next screen!

    4. You'll get your 9th life here, but I don't know how to up and to the left to the next screen.

    5. If you damage jump off the first pair of xs, you can get a refill and damage jump off the last pair.

  8. I have no idea where to go ha ha! There’s a life in a box but no way to get up there!

    1. When you get to the solo life up high by itself, use the flag near it, then go below and "die" on the many purple blocks. When you respawn, you use the floating angel to get up there!

  9. It looks like 2 hurt jumps will get me up through the 2 green fake blocks near start, but I only have 2 hearts on the right side of the one way death blocks.
I found 2 more on the left side but am unable to get back.
Is there a super jump trick ? The crouch won't stay engaged onto a damage block so I can't combine them.
Also can't wall slide down. A little help getting past 4 hearts please.

  10. Yes the power of posting helped me.
By using my left hand to power jump into the hurt block and using my right hand to turn the bounce back into a long jump I got back over the 4 death blocks. to the starting area with the 4 green hearts.

  11. I like the game, but got soft locked :( There's a place I went with 4 lives. Go to the right and there is an "R" cutout, but when you go back left, you can't get back up.

    1. OK so apparently the "R" means die and restart at the last CP if you press R.

  12. I will say that when you die on purple blocks and you get the "angle" floating up, you CAN use that angle as a platform.

  13. Things don't always work the same.
Some falls insta kill you but others don't.
One red x turns off the crouch but 2 will power it up.

  14. Crazy amount of purple tiles....single floating blue square and 3 red X's to the left.....I hit the green switch in previous screen above it but can't "die" and get to angel in time to float up to next screen....HELP!

  15. I managed to get 11 lives, then fell down a long vertical drop and briefly walked around with gravity reversed. But after that I ended up back a few screens to the left of the starting point (with normal gravity) with seemingly nothing to do.

    1. Go right until you see the +1 logo, then go one more screen. There's a powerup above you and a long tunnel below it. That's the exit.

  16. Never mind. Power of posting, just figured it out.

  17. This is an awesome game. Took me about 50 minutes on first playthrough, definitely got frustrated a few times when it felt like I was out of options, but discovering the next mechanic and breaking through a barrier is a very rewarding experience. Might be too frustrating if you don't happen upon the right combination of actions, but I think that makes it a good challenge. I've replayed several times now because I enjoyed the playthrough so much. Best time is currently 12:51, but it feels like a very repeatable game if you wanted to practice speed runs. There are a few spots where you can activate bugs. Glitching through the level on an angel isn't that bad, you can just reset. But the one that perturbed me most was trying to bounce down into a blue block to activate it, then crouch and damage jump. Several times the blue block would blink red, then back to blue, and I couldn't get the damage mode to stick. Overall a great experience though, 9/10 platformer.

    1. 7:46 is my new best time. Far from optimized, but a pretty decent run I think. Post your best time, especially if you've beaten me!

  18. I'm stuck at 9 where the purple blocks are on the bottom and there is a blue platform going back and forth with 3 red X-block half off the screen as well as a tall green gate on the left upper area. I've been trying to figure that out for a long time. Can anyone help? (where you have to access the area by dying and going across a bunch of red X's crouching to get there)

    1. Step 1 is flip the switch on the upper screen. Climb on blue block, travel to the right, die on purple. Quickly move left from the flag, then right to catch the angel, ride that up into the switch, and make sure to hit the flag to lock it in that position. Next step is to use your crouch jump from the far left cliff, jump up into the right side of the red blocks, and time it so you ricochet onto the blue. This turns the blue into a red damage block, and locks it in place. Hold crouch as you ricochet, and you will begin a boosted damage jump. Use this jump to go right of the red blocks, and to the screen above. Good luck, the timing of this is tricky, but it's very possible.
