    1. I feel like it's not really new. I played it a month ago. Bart just happened to play it just recently I guess. But yeah another great Robert Alvarez game!

    1. Hmmm it probably got unpublished then republished in Poki? I happen to have a screenshot (I usually take a screenshot of the "thanks for playing" part whenever I complete games) and it really is Upwarp I played a month ago. Also, searching now, there is a walkthrough made in July 4, 2025. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pup0dRRP7Q.

    2. No, it was posted on Poki about a month ago. A google search for "Robert Alvarez upwarp" shows that, if you look at the date for the post.

    3. To be clear: Not complaining. It is his most recent game, and it is a good one.

    4. My browser history shows I first played it on 8 July, so it's been out for over a month.

  6. I'm also a huge Robert Alvarez fan, and I hate to seem like I'm nitpicking, but does anyone else dislike the inability to mute the music without muting the sound effects? Sound effects add an important dimension to my experience of a game, but constant, repetitive music lowers my enjoyment by about 2-3 points on a 10 point scale. (Partly I'm wondering how unusual I am.)

    1. Personally, the music elevates the experience, but to each their own. However, I do agree that being able to mute the music and sound effects separately would indeed be beneficial.

    2. I totally agree - I like the sound effects but don't like the music. In older Alvarez games you were able to mute the music while keeping the sound effects.

    3. You're not alone. I don't like repetitive music either. However, this tune isn't nearly as annoying as some. Agree it would be nice to be able to turn it off.
