x-step steve [browser]
Ethan Clark just released a new game in his N Step Steve games series: here's X-Step Steve, an easier more math-education oriented N Step Steve game.
I love a game that I can win before the music loses it's charm. Knowing all the tricks form the last version helps, but it was still easier. I could not wake the sleeping kitten, even with 2 cats in the right side map.
Honestly, I don't mind that it was obviously made with a lesser difficulty curve. It's a nice variant on the step series, and it doesn't overstay its welcome! Satisfying to grab all the stars.
I like this version better, even if it is shorter and easier. I enjoyed that I can get to the end and collect all the stars. The previous version was fun, but way too hard for me, I hadn't finished that one, lost my patience after playing many days.
I'd appreciate a hint on getting the last star (it's located behind the 2 'sleep pads'). Looks like I need 3 cats but I don't see a way to get 3 there...
This game was very fun and pretty easy since I was able to 100% complete the whole game from a new save file in under 1 hour. I liked how this game even had a section of the map where you can use the 1 teleporter trick from N-Step Steve that teleports you 5 rooms up to get to the secret disconnected section of the map.
This is way too easy compared with his previous works! (But still a good game)
ReplyDeleteNice, but far more easy than the 2 previous Steve.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, if only you could make two pink squares re-spawn at the same time ..
