I also have an apartment where a wall switch controls the plugin my computer is in.
ReplyDeleteWhen it was made floor lamps were more common than computers.
They put the lower half of every wall outlet on a wall switch.
We put tape over the switch to stop accidentally using it.
I do find it handy for resetting the router on super hot days.
Promising start.

Funny though, (if you never had rodents living in your walls.)
