  1. I get why the controls are the way they are, but jumping with something that is not an up arrow feels extremely unnatural. Pretty fun game, though

  2. I agree Sir Light - I died quite a few times because I used the wrong controls. Having the same controls (so the up key always means jump, left key will always move the character to its left) no matter which way the character is facing makes much more sense to me.

  3. In level 16 I found the space bar.

You can use the space as jump-key no matter what position you are in.

  4. Although the continuosly changing controls are pretty challenging, it is part of the fun! :-) Good game, I really liked it!

  5. I had to switch between using the spacebar & not.
For an added challenge don't warp or move blocks on 24.

  6. I didn't use the spacebar at all! Took some brain juice to keep track of which button was jump, but I managed it. My only gripe with this one is that the game is a little too big to fit in my Firefox window, so I had to keep scrolling up and down to see the part of the level I was in. It was most bothersome on the falling-loop level, where I was messing with the teleporters but I couldn't see the platforms I had to land on at the bottom, but it was a pain the whole time.

  7. I used ctrl+scroll to shrink the window size.

  8. This was about the right level of difficulty for me -- I am generally bad at critical-timing things, so level 23 was my biggest pain, but even that one wasn't impossible.

  9. Level 19 feels like a reference to the Saffron City Gym in Pokemon:

  11. @Anonymous, on 24 I actually gave up on moving all the blocks after messing up several times. It seemed to me the jumps without using the blocks were only slightly more difficult than not using the blocks, and I could make 10x more attempts in the same amount of time.

@Urban Garlic, for 23 I just practiced several jumps on the right side so when I got over to the left side, I knew the right location and angle to jump.

@Nat, I didn't use the spacebar either, but each time I switched gravity, I would pause and do a mental reconfigure of which one was "jump" and which two were "move".

    Fun game! Thanks Robert Alvarez!
