ReplyDelete@Anonymous Me neither... But you can make the little dude headbang by crouching :D
ReplyDeleteYou can pick up the other game with X-key + down. Then when you are holding the game you can press the D-key to enter that game (or press the S-key to zoom out) and so on...

ReplyDeleteI just opened it in another browser and it works. But with firefox there's only this empty area and no BGM.
ReplyDeleteHad to open in chromium. Didn't run in Firefox.
ReplyDeleteBut once I did I really enjoyed it. Always like games that play with recursive themes.

ReplyDeleteVery clever idea. Don't have Chrome installed so I had to use Edge. It was horribly laggy, and occasionally upon getting/using powerups the rest of the game console would disappear and only the screen would be visible over the other screen, which was a little disorienting. But I beat it, it was pretty fun. Hope this gets a more optimized post-jam release with some of those kinks worked out! For an ending, I'd suggest something in the outermost world, like beating the boss grants you a rocket or infinite jump ability so you can get out of the pit, and maybe there's an ending up there, or you can escape the top of the game console or something.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I do after getting the game behind the wall of bats after getting the one that lets you shoot? when picking it up it doesn't say it does anything special like the previous 2. I played this on chrome by the way.
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on that same spot. I tried playing it on Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but the game behind the wall of bats in Ga Game Me 5 doesn't seem to do anything.
ReplyDeleteIt seemed a bit glitchy to me, but I was able to get the game behind the wall of bats to show by resizing the window slightly.
ReplyDeleteThere was a point where it zoomed in on a game (the second "bats" one) but only showed the top half. I don't know if that's intentional ("interface screw" fake difficulty) or a glitch, but either way it made that level basically unplayable so I had to stop. Bummer.
