a new bontegame: pink [mobile]

After YELLOW, RED, BLACK, BLUE and GREEN, my new mobile colour puzzle is out today! And it's PINK! If you are familiar with my colour puzzles, you know the drill: can you make the screen pink in each of the 50 levels?
I also created a new song for the game, available on Spotify and Bandcamp, but I'm sure you'll want to click on your favourite app store right away to download the free game now, so I won't stop you, go ahead:

The game is free but if you want to support my games there is a 'premium unlock' in-app purchase. Enjoy the new game! Play it, rate it, share it 🦩

  2. This was great, but could someone explain level 49 to me? Thanks!

  3. Would you be able to make this for a laptop? I don't play games on my phone. I might make an exception for yours.

  4. Again a Nice Game.
    I didn't realize I needed a pink game

I'm stuck for today, but that is part of the fun.

@Anony This games are more fun on mobile.
Later Bart releases a desktop version. at least he did with the other colours.
But the desktop version is the mobile version minus all levels that are not good on desktop.

  5. Thank you!!

@Riiick There are 6 grapefruits. The 6 grapefruits are in the same position as the 6 parts of 1 grapefruit.
Where is the first white part? Tap the grapefruit in the corresponding position -> the grapefruit with the 1 white part is done.
Where are the two white parts? Click those 2 grapefruits -> the grapefruit with the 2 white part is done.
And so on for the 3 the 4 the 5 and the 6 parts.

    @LongPeter I couldn't have explained that any better :)

  7. Could you tell me what happened in 45? I just randomly press buttons until I pass the level but I don't know why... XD

  8. @Yu For level 45: repeat the sequence of left/right looking birds with the left/right buttons.

  9. Thanks a lot! I loved the game. And the music was very pink as well :3

  10. @Yu Thanks! Also in level 45: the birds flip with each button press just to distract you ;)

  11. Thanks Bart - I'm really enjoying this!

  12. @Bart Thanks for the explanation for 49, I originally solved it using the hints, but I didn't understand where the numbers were coming from when I used the hint.

  13. Thanks Bart, Merci!!!
    But...I don’t get the 49...🧐

  14. Congrats on the new title Bart! Can't wait to give it a play.

  15. Thanks, Bart. Nice one. I have to say, though, that even with the 3 hints and the explanation you provided here, I still don't get level 49.

  17. I think get (or at least I thought I got) level 49, but they keep turning back "on" for me? Do I need to go in a certain order/direction when I'm click the two for two and the three for three? I definitely feel like I'm still missing something, and I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

By the way, I LOVE the flamingo theme. Might I suggest sloths if you ever do brown? ;)

  18. Dearest Bart, as a HUGE fan I have to admit defeat. Pink (level 7) that flamingo WILL NOT let me pick it up and go away. I get it almost there, then it just slides back down again. Having spent the best part of an hour with it, can you please help? Thank you. Love as always, Jake. xxxxx

  19. @Allison - re level 49, it's okay if they turn "on" again (I think they have to, actually, otherwise the "selected" ones wouldn't match the pattern). What you're aiming to do is get the outer rings of each grapefruit to turn white. When you click the grapefruit/s that match the white pieces of a grapefruit, the white ring around the outside of that grapefruit turns dark. (It took me a REALLY long time to work that out.) Once you've gotten a ring to turn dark, it stays dark, and you don't have to worry about it again. Then you do the pattern to match each in turn.

    I hope that helps :-)

  20. @Anoynmous.... THANK YOU! I thought the "slices" turning white again meant I had done something wrong, because that's how many of the puzzles work.

  21. Really Bart this is georgeous, I did play all of ur games so far.

PINK brings it to a new level.
I really did enjoyed level 28 cuz u dulled the PINK a little bit and it was a great relieve for my eyes (I am sensitive of flashing lights and harsh color so it makes it a little difficult for me).
    But I got tru.
    Anaand superplus:
    I do like flamingos :)

I am not done at all, 20 Levels to go...but I wonder if u pt in cute effects like shaking ur device or tilting or so.

    BTW:
U dont mind if I feature this on my blog, do u?

  22. @Voodooschaaf Thanks, of course I don't mind :)

  23. Cheers everyone!

Level 7: slowly pull it up without lifting your finger until you can see its feet.

    Level 49:
The 6 grapefruit are positioned just like 6 parts of 1 grapefruit.
The goal is each time to make the white ring around the grapefruit dark starting with the grapefruit with 1 white part, then the one with 2 white parts, and so on until the one with 6 white parts.
First the grapefruit with 1 white part:
You have to click on the grapefruit in the corresponding position of the white part, so you have to click the top right grapefruit.
The white ring around the grapefruit with 1 white part will turn dark, this is an indication you are done with this one.
Then the grapefruit with 2 white parts:
You have to click on the 2 grapefruits in the corresponding positions of the 2 white parts, so you have to click the top left grapefruit and the bottom right grapefruit.
The white ring around the grapefruit with 2 white parts will turn dark.
Then the the grapefruit with 3 white parts, and so on...

  25. So, yea, I understand NOTHING of how 49 worked. I used all the tips twice, read Bart's explination here, then just hit stuff for 10 mins until it moved on to the next level. I duno

  26. Same here. They all made some kind of sense, until 49. I don't even understand the explanation! Random pressing did it for me, too.

  28. I think i have found a small bug... If you are playing and you lock your screen, and afterwards you want to return to the game, you only see a black screen. you have to force close the app.

  29. Dear Bart, I gave up on level 7 (on my tablet) and loaded PINK on my phone instead. I managed level 7 1st go. I assume either the game doesn't load properly on tablets, oe just on my tablet. Otherwise it's great. Thank you, Jake

  30. 49 took me a while, but I'm glad to say I figured it out without any hints! I noticed the first ring disappear, and got the second one by chance, but I was just trying random combinations. I had to restart it to figure out which combinations I actually used, and eventually it just clicked. The slices on the buttons themselves were giving me the combinations! (Hopefully that slightly different wording helps someone understand it.)
Then I got 50 just trying things, sat there for a second trying to figure out what I did, and then rolled my eyes and chuckled when I saw the pun. (PINP?)
I'm still waiting for Orange, but I'll just have to be patient...

  31. I solved 50 but I don't quite get it... Swiping up on the P while it was in mid air made it fade...? Did I help it go IN the jar?

  32. Hey Bart, I love the music for this one. What instrument did you use for the analogue synth stabs?
