I invented Christmas! That last level was a challenge.
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice. I am sometimes irritated with games that introduce totally alien new mechanics part-way through, but this one gets away with it.

ReplyDeleteYule is the ancient name in the Germanic lunar calendar for a winter festival corresponding to December and January.
ReplyDeleteLater, yule referred to the 12-day holiday associated with the Feast of the Nativity after the widespread adoption of Christianity through Northern Europe.
Christmas is just another tradition stolen & twisted into the capitalistic version of today.
I fail to see how you can claim to have invented it.
Anonymous, thanks for the history lesson. I think you need to chill out. Maybe pour yourself a little rum and eggnog, kick back and try not to take everything so seriously. It was a game about pushing sleds into holes, it isn't actually a commentary on economics or the deterioration of the values surrounding Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what the goal is on the level with reindeer? There is no hole to push the sled into and what is that at the bottom that shows a big X when you move the sled?
