word surge [browser]

A puzzle game about forming words hidden in each level with a common theme which is hinted at by the level's shape: Word Surge.

  1. I was getting all the words, even though I can't spell.
But I can't figure out the diamond level.
    I know all the words.
But I don't see an order for them.
Even using the hints it won't work out.

  2. The diamond level contains a spelling mistake. Karat with a K is a unit of purity for gold. Carat with a C is a unit of weight for a diamond. The word in the puzzle is spelled with a K (I had to use a hint to figure this one out since it refused to accept C-A-R-A-T).

  3. Really liked the simple, colorful aesthetic. Fun with words!

Have you been able to solve the diamond level"?
It took me a bit of time, too, to solve it.

  5. I'm stuck on the "Tag" level. I got "collar", but that's it. Any hints?

  6. The game gives you the words if you ask it for a hint.

  7. Novel game & mechanics are good, but I ran out of clues at the sailboat level and cannot progress any further without downloading the app to my phone. I continually found apropos words which did not agree with the game's mechanics which felt somewhat creatively limiting to me.

  8. How do you get hints from the game other than from the shapes?! There is no hint button anywhere!

  9. For the tag level the words are Identify, Collar, and Attach. Hope this helps. :)

  10. Any hints for level 16? Or am I missing something obvious?
