Pretty good. I liked the firefighting and discovering new moves. The difficulty is scattershot, but the last real level is solid.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. I don't know how I got through the very first level, Standby: is it just a question of running down a clock by taking lots of steps while exploring the controls, or was it something I did that eventually made the fire turn blue and die? I wish I knew, because now, after several levels where I did understand the mechanic, I'm stuck on one I think is called Heat and Oxygen, where there's fire between me and the exit. I assume that red line that's always behind me is a backpack of some kind: is it something I can shoot at the flames? How? X doesn't seem to do anything. If I crush the flames with the blocks, I block the way to the stairs, so I put a block above a flame to deprive it of oxygen, and then what?

ReplyDeleteMost levels are more finding a new game-dynamic then solving the level puzzles.
Took me a while to see that the space bar was the key for water.

Doesn't work in my other browser either - same error.

ReplyDeleteThe new link works, up to a point (but the picture is smaller unless I go full-screen). I found out that in Standby, it's X to put on the equipment and also to use it, but having got back to "Heat and Oxygen", neither X nor space bar (as mentioned by XexusNH) works. I've run out of things to try.

ReplyDeletepush the top block left into the fire, then down. Put out the fire above the door (X or spacebar), and then drop down to the door. You can only put out fires immediately to your left or right, and only if you're also standing on something.
I liked this game. Just challenging enough. I got stuck a couple times and came back later to solve it.

I'm generally a fan of puzzle script games but I especially liked this one. Had to come back a few times to finish it though (which says something about my liking it!)

ReplyDeleteComing back to this after a break, I'm still stuck on the level One by One. I can build a stair and stand at the bottom of it with the blue person, then I can leave them behind and go up the stairs, _or_ put them down on the bottom step, but then they just stand there and don't go upstairs ahead of me.
