fluffy tile world [browser]

Fluffy Tile World by Sylviefluff is another 'running out of space' Ludum Dare 42 game jam entry. Touch every tile and end on the green one in the nine puzzles and there are also fluffy sheep you can talk to... (control with the cursor keys, X key to undo a move, R key to reset)

  1. Sort of good idea but the board was to tiny I could hardly see. Also, annoying to have to go all the way back and start from scratch if you do one mistake. That gets old really quickly.

  2. Umm, I don't know what I'm missing, but I touch every tile and then end on the green one in the first level, and nothing happens. Has anyone been able to progress past the first level?

  4. Yeah, I did figure that out eventually, but none of these other levels are particularly well-defined -- they each have their own green tiles, but they also have multiple entry and exit points. There doesn't seem to be any reason to enter anywhere in particular or to exit at the green tile again. There's no sort of indication that a puzzle has been solved, and nothing happens when you fill all the tiles. The sheep don't even say anything interesting.

I'm afraid this one is a total failure, but I guess that's the risk with such a short time frame to make a game.

  6. @1:21 Anonymous: When you're on that green tile, try walking upwards. :P

  7. Sure, a little unremarkable once he 9th puzzle is solved, but challenging all the same, the Skulls puzzle (NE) was the toughest for me.

  8. I think the real puzzle is pathing to do all 9.
Also there is no need to reset all the way to the start.

  9. Made the "R" mistake once and used the "X" after that. Definitely a challenging puzzle for me -- I keep running out of walking space. ;p
