40 [browser]

Apparantly this room holds 40 codes. Can you find all of them so you can turn on all the green lights to open the door in the new puzzle game 40 by Sarameya? (note: with the checklist symbol you can keep track of the ones already found)

  1. This is wacky. I like it!!! Making slow progress but I seem to have hit a wall.

  2. Argh, brain-ache. Overloaded codes galore...

Um, out, but I really wish game designers knew circles were one sided not zero sided!!!! :-/

    1. Nice one! I think it's zero for zero corners in a circle.

  3. The idea is really interesting and the codes are mixed up very well... right now, I'm missing three codes, but how to ask for help without spoiling? XD
Well, at least I can ask this: the sheet on the left of the playing cards hints to a 3-digit code, I'd say... but how? I really don't get what the arrows are pointing towards or what I should count!

  4. Small hint in exchange: be aware that the 3x3 square codes are not only color codes!
(That tricked me for a while)

  5. I'm with ya Rava...I got all the codes except for the one that is likely related to the sheet to the left of the cards. It's probably something simple but I'm not seeing it. Now I'm sure I'm overthinking it.

  6. Rava finally got it.....here's your hint....Ghost Leg.

  7. Very good! I love the concept of this, although a lot of the codes were really easy. Overall I hope to see more from this developer

  8. I've got 29 so far. Zero-sided helps, thanks. I actually discounted that one because I thought circles had an infinite number of straight sides. Definitely haven't got Ghost Leg yet. We'll see if I can make it.

  9. I'm totally stumped on the Othello (I think?) boards in the drawers. Hint?

  10. Anonymous 02:21. For the Othello boards, look for numbers in the patterns before and after playing the piece.

  11. The Othello/Go boards contain multiple clues - some are visual, some are 'count' related. That was the area I found trickiest.

  12. Thanks for the hints, the "ghost leg" and "pattern before playing the piece" hints help a lot!

Now I'm missing two four-number codes, one with the plants and the other with the Othello boards...

  13. Thanks chefsinger! I had to look up what "ghost leg" means, but then it was straightforward! :) I would have never thought of it.

I guess now I'm at same point with Keeper... I also miss a code in with the plants an one with Othello... about the second one, I guess I'm mistaking somewhere because I thought I got the "after moving the pieces" code, but the one I see seems to be wrong

  14. Rava, look at the shelves before opening to the Othello boards. There are two codes there. Also, make sure you didn't already put in the code and think you got it wrong, use the checklist for that.

  15. I'm missing one last one of the 3x3 grid...I think it must have to do with the way the doors open...but I'm not yet getting that one..

  16. I need one of the 4-digit drawer codes (I think it may be one of the Othello ones) and one of the 4 digit card codes...Any suggestions?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh, yeah, just to mention, there are two codes that can be combined with the plants and the book, the less obvious one one took me a while to get.

  18. veewee. For the missing solution for the 3x3 grid, you have the right idea that it has to do with the way the doors open. Make a grid and write down the directions the doors open. Then you can work through it by moving from square to square in the directions indicated. Post again if you still have problems solving it.

  19. I am missing 3 4-digit codes (2 from the plants and 1 from the drawers)

@Cynic : I managed to get one code before getting to the Othello boards, can you give a hint for the other codes. the one I found is a "counting" code.

I need help with the other 2 codes from the plants, the ones I found are:

    **** Spoiler Alert ****
Written number, dots count, leaves count, plants count, letter count and lines count.

I can't figure out the remaining codes.

  20. For the last 2 plant codes, there is the location in sequence of the capital letters on the written-out numbers (EX, eigHt would be 4), and

    ***Spoiler Alert***
The page numbers in the book and what orders the plants are in. Match a page number to each plant.

You wouldn't mind giving me a hint for one of the 4-digit card codes in exchange, would you? I have the one from adding up the red cards, and the one from the numbered cards. I'm missing the remaining card code and one of the drawer codes.

  21. For the second desk/drawer code, look at the white part in front of each drawer, it makes a drawing...

    ReplyDelete
  22. And counting the grey lines in front of each drawer, I found a 4 digit code for the cards!!!! I didn't figure out how I could find that number with the cards... But I'm at 40! thanks for the plants hints, I was missing some of the 4 plants codes.
And thanks for the 3x3 doors direction code!

Thanks for the hints, i got one and working to find the other one.

For the cards hints, ***Spoiler*** : have a look at the shape the shelves make.

Drawers: as the guys up there thankfully mentioned, you can get two codes before opening the drawers and 3 from the Othello boards, ***Spoiler*** : a hint next to each board for what to count, another code is to check the shape of the black disks and then the other code is to check the shape of the black disks after placing the outside disk at the location pointed by the arrows.

    I hope that was helpful.

  24. Thanks LorenzoM for the drawers hint.

the code you got by counting the gray lines is explained in my previous post ;)

  25. Still missing one code from the plants...

    I have got:

    ***Spoiler***
    1. Numbers on the pots
2-5. Count whatever available on the pots
    6. Position of capital letters
    7. Page numbers

    What is the last one??

    ReplyDelete
  26. @ Keeper

There are 5 things to be counted on the pots, they are ***Spoiler*** : the number of plants, number of leaves, the lines, the dots (circles) and the letters.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thanks for those last 2 codes...I got all 40 \o/

    ReplyDelete
  28. so I'm missing a 4 digit code with the bricks, i got the four obvious ones

    ReplyDelete
  29. @ Belal

Thanks for the "# letters" hint!! Finally got all codes!

    ReplyDelete
  30. ***Spoiler alert***

Bricks: dark bricks, bricks with shapes, number of shapes forming numbers, # of shapes in shapes forming numbers, # of corners of shapes in shapes.

  31. I still can't figure out how to get the codes on the Ortello boards or how to move the black disks. Is there a trick I've been missing?
