  1. Some of these were very intuitive, some not. I enjoyed them all. Toma Tea is a favorite to be savored. I admire the clever weave of logic and art. Thanks Bart

  2. And out. Very cute. And I agree, not all of that is obvious... And it helps (somewhat!)
if you can read music and play piano.

  3. Hmm...I can read music...haven't managed to solve any puzzle yet! I'll need to ponder for longer..

  4. ooh! yay! finally one of them clicked!

  5. Any idea where to find the pedals hint?

  6. That one took some doing, but yay! I'm out!

  7. I'm, hopefully temporarily, stuck again with a just a vinyl record in my inventory..and many questions! No idea where to click right now..

  8. This one was a bit different. It took me a few minutes to get started, but once I did, I solved the whole thing almost instantly. I actually think this may be the easiest TomaTea escape game.

The little table with the moving puzzles threw me a bit at first, since I wasn't able to do anything with it at the start and I was worried it might not be working properly on my browser. But of course that turned out not to be the case.

  9. There is no need to be able to read music.
Actually that might hinder your decoding the puzzles.
This might be the most straightforward Toma Tea room yet.
The you are not ready warnings were slightly glitchy.

  10. OK, a hint for people like me that were viciously stuck with a record and no means of proceedings. The musical notes on the painting come in groups of 3. There are 3 pedals on the piano. So, there you go.

  11. A victrola! How nice! I like the theme of this one and how well the use of music was integrated into the puzzles. Thanks Bart.

  12. Thanks Lizzie, I eventually solved the pedals puzzle by brute force, but I'm glad to know there was a correlating code.

  13. Thanks, Lizzie! That was the one hint I needed!

  14. I want that little sculpture of the cellist on the table!

  15. I've watched many walkthroughs, just for the first clue. Can anyone explain to me the connection between the painting and the four notes you have to play to get the number clue?

  16. @Anonymous From the painting: FACE. Those are notes (note map is in the table).

  17. note map is in the table, but can you reach it before you need it? I'm not sure, as I got this note map at the very end of the game...

  18. @Anonymous Yes, you can get the note map before playing the piano notes.

  19. Tom, thank you! So you do need to know something about music (which I don't) for this clue.

  20. @Anonymous well, if you know the notes on a keyboard, you can solve it without the note map from the table. But even if you know nothing about music, once you find the note map, the note sequence is clear. So I do not consider knowledge of music to be q requirement for this game.

  21. Out. Nice one, quite easy compared to standard Tomatea difficulty level I think.

  22. @Tom. Ah, I guess I was watching the "wrong" walkthroughs. I get it now: I should have started at the pedals.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Anonymous yes, if the walkthrough you used showed the piano notes being played before the note map had been found, then I would call it a bad walkthrough, since it skipped over a clue that was intended for that puzzle.

  24. oh my gosh - really?
I do like the graphics in the tomatea games but it's always the same - at least some of the hints/ clues and riddles aren't that logic. -To me it seems as if the creator forgets to explain sth - this one was really ugly - especially when you're into music
sorry - but this was a big fail - I really would like to play more of these if they were really thought through. It's possible to do that.so pleas go for it. thanks.
