cube escape: arles

You're trapped inside a room in Arles surrounded by art. It's the latest escape the room game by Rusty Lake, cube escape: arles.

  1. That was... odd

  2. Which color is "?" ??? I think that's the only thing I still have to do...

  3. Spoiler alert (for Anonymous) Try black.

Hilarious game. Very clever puzzles made totally fun with all of the biographical references and well-known art works.
    (Even the dark ending.)

  4. For the '?': pay attention when you are going through the ear...

  5. I had solved the riddle with the bottles and the glass before I'd put anything in the basin, and because I'm playing without sound, I hadn't noticed that something had happened. So in the end I wasted a lot of time trying to solve a puzzle that was already solved, when I should've been looking for the final item elsewhere.

I'm really enjoying these Cube games. They have mechanics that feel new, the painting here for example and the music in Seasons.

  6. Very cool. I don't understand how the colors of the bottles was determined. Nor do I understand how the color of the ? shape on the painting was determined.

  8. For the drink colors, look at the shadings in the drawings.

  9. The most interesting entry of the Cube series so far, but I lost interest after the weight puzzle.

  10. Um - after the weight puzzle, you're just seconds away from finishing.

  11. How do I solve the weight puzzle? I have no clue!

  12. You are given the weights of two items (on the door), you can deduce the weights of the others by working out what balances what. It is tricky - it's hard to tell when the scales are really balanced. Other than that, knowing your art helps...

  13. Nice game - especially the pictures and their specialities.
But I'm totally stuck - how can I get the colours?
    How can I use them?

  14. Have to agree that "how do I get the colours so I can use them?" is not obvious... What in your inventory would you put colours on in order to paint with them? Where might you put that item in order to use it, within the view where you need to use it?

  15. I really enjoyed it and I managed to escape with no help (which is quite unusual for me). I guess there is the right atmosphere to motivate me towards the exit?! :)

  17. urgh, I forgot about games that ask to store saves on your computer. I don't trust the site enough to do that, and it's horribly annoying to have to click "deny" every 5-10 seconds... I really love van Gogh, though. I want to play the game. :(

I really love the sunflowers. I wonder if they do anything in the game? In art we got to choose artists to make a piece about and I chose Pablo Picasso. I love all art from Vincent van Gogh' s Starry Night to Leanardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. This game is definently a quite a big change from Bart Bonte, with paintings in change of animals.
I also have a challenge for you, try to find the name of a famous painting with a black smudge and an orange spot on the bottom. Go,go,go!

P.S. I'm kind of good at these games. I'm either known as Glitch Girl or Animhsap.
P.P.S I'm not really that good at games, but if your making a list to walkthrough people, I'm your girl.
P.P.P.S. I suggest we should all put our ages on these list. I'm 10.

  19. Hi! I'm 11, and I really have no idea whatsoever how to get colors, or how to solve the Sunflower Puzzle! Urgh, I'm usually in and out with these puzzles...

Someone help me or tell me how to do it
