  5. Pret-ty inventive. Just the right amount of tricky, too!

  6. I don't get it. How do you get past that wall with the red markings after picking up the first crystal? Shooting it doesn't do any good, and E doesn't seem to do anything.

  7. susanreads, shoot the switch/button on the ceiling just before the door.

  8. Thanks shorty82, I thought it might be something like that. That's one of the things I tried, but even if I jump and shoot at the same time I can't reach it. I guess it's just impossible acrobatics, which I'm used to encountering at higher levels in platformers. Getting that on the very first level indicates this game is not for me!

  9. Click and hold your mouse button. The strength of the shot depends on how long you hold the button. A quick click is the weakest shot, holding the click a few seconds gives the strongest shot.

  10. Thanks shorty82! (The extra controls list when you hold down Tab doesn't mention that.) Now I've got further ... then the game decided my left arrow key was stuck and I couldn't get away from that end of the room (the one with the water and the pile of orange crystals - that's a tricky shot to raise the bridge). I don't think I'm going to be able to finish this in half-hour instalments; I wish it would save your progress!

  11. I've got a lot further, worked out what to do with the grey buttons, and ... this is weird. Has anybody else got a level with no exit? You land from a long drop, there are some orange crystals and two blocks on chains, then there's another long drop and a Catnella statue ... and then a plain wall. I can't find a door or any more buttons. I tried shooting straight up in a few places (one of the levels had a blue button in the ceiling where you can only see it while jumping down) but it just seems to be a dead end. What am I missing?

  12. Bless an orange crystal then launch it. It sets of a flash of light, revealing a hidden passage.

  13. Thanks for being so helpful shorty82! It's fun again once I can see what I'm doing.

This time I got as far as the boss battle. Wow, I'm not going to be able to evade that with these sticky keys (What's up with that? I know they're not actually sticky, they work fine in other games and puzzles). I reckon I'll need to find something that isn't a laptop to play it on if I'm ever going to finish the game.
