escape from mr. k's room 4

Tesshi-e prepared another room for your point and click enjoyment. Can you escape from mr. k's room 4? (note: you can switch the language in the opening screen)

  5. Hint: The numbers behind picture spell four letters. Tissue-back contains words you can spell out on corners of hippo painting.

    The bottle is not empty. Use it to fill U-tube.

  6. Can't figure out what to do with the foot pedals on the piano. Assume it has something to do with the notes in the book? Any hints?

  8. I have a tissue that says "moon on one", a spade-shaped key, a tissue box, a stick, a cork, and two straws. I've seen the notes in the book, and the numbers behind the square on the wall (I think they mean M-E-O-N). I can't find anything else to click on, I can't figure out how to use any of the items, and I can't figure out how to use any of the clues to enter a code. Hint?

    15 13

    The other clue also shows A = 1 to Z =26. Translate the numbers above into letters. Then what direction the painting is moved corresponds to the letters on the wall clue. And the "moon on one" clue.

  11. It takes a little engineering at the end with the sticks, corks, tissue box, straws, tape, and drill. You need to create a little car...

  12. Strange, I managed to escape without finishing all the clues: no battery, right cabinet still closed, and I never figured out the fans.
    But: I got the Happy Coin! :-)

  13. Once I realized there was an alternative view to the back left, it started to fall into place. (Duh!) But, the graphics made it hard for me to realize that there was a glass covered tunnel beneath the right hippo shelves. Until I realized that, the tissue box car seemed rather unnecessary. (Double duh!)

    Happy Coin, though, so it's all good.

  16. I don't know how you all figured this out so easily. After unlocking the hippo picture, I am stuck with one key which unlocks nothing, one stick, one cork, the "moon on one" paper, and a tissue box with straws taped to it. What have I missed? The note code and the bird figure code don't seem to work on anything.

  21. Was stuck till I found the glass u-tube up top of the Mr. Hippos near the piano. I had to step back to zoom in on it. Nice clues all around, but the lack of a cursor that changes still ruins the game.

  22. Anon 08:34 - I had tried that already. After you posted, I tried the code backwards and the cabinet opened. Musical notes are ALWAYS numbered bottom to top, not top to bottom as this author did. Thanks for the hint, but I'm sorry, that's bad game design.

  23. (Comment above) Huh? The position of the notes on the staff reading from left to right (as music is read) = the order in which the five vertical buttons are pushed to open the sliding door. Logical and intuitive.
