adrift

Draw and connect star points without crossing paths to solve every level in the puzzler adrift by Tack Mobile (note: this is a html5 game, so you'll need a recent browser).

  1. awesome concept but it's really frustrating that the surrounding tiles can so easily be colored as well if you're not super careful about where your cursor is on the tile. XP

  2. It was fun! (Yes, you have to operate your mouse carefully.)

  3. Nothing new in the concept, this is another Hyper Frame / 3D Logic clone - but with worse graphics and horrid response time. I had to hover over each square along the path sometimes 3 seconds or more before the game would recognize the move.

The level-select menu is attractive, but it's the only "whimsy" anywhere, as the background in each level is identical.

  6. How in the world do you do #5?

  7. Jaymar - that is an issue with your computer. It is lightening fast on mine.

  8. Jessica - thanks, good to know!

  9. Turns out it works fine in Firefox. In Chrome v25.0.1364.172, it's very slow plus the squares don't color in as they should.

  10. Jessica - For #5 you have to make yellow take a really long route.

  13. How do you complete level 9? I keep clashing with the colors.

  14. for #9
Stay on the outside for yellow, then the same for green, then start red on the outside, but do not exaggerate, then the rest is simple.

  15. Sorry, correction for my description of 20:24: also for red you have to stay on the outside as far as possible.

  21. Huh. Is the browser game meant to be a prequel to something? Ten levels feels a might short to me.

A fun diversion though. I love the cube puzzlers.

  24. If you want more levels like this, this game was of course inspired by this game from 2007: 3d logic 2

  25. Oh, yes! Thank you, Bart! But I must have played it way more recently than 2007... my brain is not that good :)
