    Maybe I missed something....but how on earth would you know to type "Door" and "Key" into the machine? (Obviously, I cheated, and looked at the YouTube walkthrough).
    Did I miss a clue? Or is it as impossibly obscure as it appears?

    I found that you can type other things into the machine in the empty room, for example "window" and it will be in the room.
