  2. yes - easy, but didn't seem to make much sense!!

  3. "Bird with its wings a little different color,
Since there was a scrap of bread every Santa have in the park,
I was treated to dinner by Maji~tsu the pigeons."

    (From the Japanese version.)

Apart from the ending this almost made sense.

  5. Good to see Santa and Uncle Combover again!
Jimmy...you must be new. Minoto is not *supposed* to make sense! That's part of his charm.

Every Santa have scrap of bread? Good to know!

  6. We need to stop whining.

  7. Too short and easy:( but still love Minoto. Yay Minoto!

  8. Surely the charm of Minoto is the weirdness / I just love it.

  9. This was too easy and too short, even for Minoto.. but I still like it! ^^

  10. Whats the first thing that you have to do??

  11. I'll say it again. Fun, but I miss the old Minoto. Things haven't been the same for a long while.

  12. Even though the recent Minoto games have been short, I am still enjoying them very much. Thanks for continuing to share them with us, Bart!

  13. too short! too fast! :(

  14. How come the Japanese version gets the poem? Those were often the best part! Thank you Peter for supplying it, at least. (It was kind of like the fortune in a fortune cookie...if you read it sideways!)

  15. Minoto may have noticed that people made fun of the poor quality of the English translations. So he stopped adding them.

  16. I adore Minoto, but it was too short and felt a bit tokenistic as though he didn't have as much time as usual to do the game. Also don't like being given the items, I prefer to find and then use them. Hope Minoto gets back to his amazing self again soon.

  17. Bart please ask Minoto to put the translations. I love his poems!

  18. That was great, a little short and easy true, but WHAT A GREAT FEELING feeding the hungry lost little duckie, {or is he a baby swan}

  19. I think Bart should stop linking to these. Unless minoto can come up with something that's actualy a game, or puzzle. it's hardly a point and click adventure now is it? more like one of those crappy e-cards...

  20. @david: you can also stop playing them if you don't like them, and stop posting in discussions of games that you don't like, only to say that you don't like them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. david can voice his dislike of the game just as you can say you like the game peter. Pretty sure it's called freedom of speech.

    ReplyDelete
  22. wtf. the ending doesn't even have a name!! why minoto why?!!?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wholeheartedly agree with David! It's more like a "tradition" now to play these games, rather than because I actually get enjoyment out of them.
And to people like Peter I have to say that yes, it's freedom of speech, for one. And also, why should I be "thankful" for scraps of bad games, when there is a cornucopia of great ones to be had elsewhere?
Minoto used to be fun, stupid fun, but still fun. His last 10+ games are just not up to snuff. Playing them as soon as Barts posts them is like a bad habit. I can't seem to break it and am mad that I did it again every time. If there's anybody out there that can honestly say they LOVE the games as they are now - more pwower to you. As for me, I'd be thankful if Bart stops posting these games, to help me break my habit.

  24. I don't like how Minoto's games are developing either. As to freedom of speech: sure, but this is a fan site, not a hate site. I still played Age of Empires a lot when its successors were already on the market and hated it when people would sign up at the community forum just to say that people who were still playing AOE were retarded.
If we stop playing/commenting on Minoto, he will be dropped soon enough.

  25. Peter you just don't get it. David opined on his not liking the game for reasons he mentioned above. Where in that did he hate or was he mean to anyone? I'll tell you, nowhere. And as far as if people stop commenting on Minoto games, you sure seem to be the first one to keep commenting. Give it a rest huh?

  26. You don't get it, Thor. This is Bart's blog, where he has the freedom to post what he likes (taking the posts of his visitors, that's us into account).
As his visitors we want this to be a nice place. So by all means say that you dislike a game or that the game didnt load, but leave it to Bart to decide to delete the topic.
That's all I have to say on the subject.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Peter give it a rest...your the only one complaining that someone didn't have a favorable comment about a certain game. So you whine and cry about hate and this and that. This is a BLOG opinion in favor of and against is what people do in them.

  28. Vertel me eens wat jullie leuk vinden aan minoto's games. Ik zie het niet hoor!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Minoto is in serious decline. This one in particular combined the worst of Minoto games:

    Very short

    Stuff magically appearing in inventory

    No weird translations

    Only one ending

Mediocre story line, and not in a fun or funky way

Most items used in an ordinary, not creative way

Could a Minoto game get much worse than this one? It was missing all the really fun characteristics with one exception, it used his graphic art style.

  30. please minoto we MISS a lot your weird stories, with weird stuff...now we can say that we're playing monotones'games rather than minoto's games just as a bad habit.
