psychosomnium

Psychosomnium is an absurd platformer that takes place in a dream, part of the game is to figure out how to progress the story. Controls are the arrow keys and the X key. Perhaps you should not try this game when you're easily frustrated :) (Hint to prevent first frustration: when the 'Stranger' can't make the jump, you should perhaps try to go back ...)

    You need to beat the bunnies with the other guy, he can jump longer and he can just punch the bunnies with the x key :-)

    Yeah... no! This was a silly game. Much too demanding for only - what - two or three levels? And the ending was indeed very unsatisfactory. Where do you find all this rubbish, Bart? :o Not that I'm not grateful for your efforts to post stuff for me to play, but this was really silly...

    The bee level was just a waste of time and effort, way to touchy and unpredictable. Bart I have seen better, sorry.

    This game has been around for a while as a PC-only download and is kind of legendary -- I'd watched a walkthrough because I can't play PC-only games.

    Now that I can play it, I'm glad I watched the walkthrough. The McBee screens are like the most annoying parts of When Pigs Fly.

    Ah.

    I never expected to see a Cactus Game on this site.

    And from what I hear of him, this is pretty much exactly his style of game; short, sweet and prone to make you go 'WTF'?

    Ha! Beat it fairly easily (even though the bee level was a pain), once the concept of "die to switch characters" became clear. I liked this one. Crazy and nonsensical, but at least it was consistently crazy, if that makes sense. The ending is a total "WTF?!?" moment, but somehow after the surreal trip I took to get there, it felt *right*. Thumbs up!

    interesting game. love the soundtrack. ending is weird. the bee part is not that hard once you figure out you can actually go very close to the upper spikes, but not too close to the lower ones

    The Bee part is annoying. I'm glad there wasn't more of this though, it ended before becoming too tedious.

    Incidentally there's another way past the rabbits, hold down the jump key and they keep jumping and you can run under them.
