  2. I know what to do, but I need another funnel...

Can't open the little red safe...

    ReplyDelete
  3. I cant find 3rd funnel and cznt figure out ratios for the water from the computer.

    ReplyDelete
  4. i'm stuck at the safe too

    ReplyDelete
  5. I am also stuck on the safe combo, I can't find anything else in the room and only have 3 numbers...

    ReplyDelete
  6. one set of # is under rug other in chair. pour water in tree for orange and water straight in for blue but does anyone know yellow?

    ReplyDelete
  7. mix water and orange in the funnel

    ReplyDelete
  8. find 3rd funnel under cage

    ReplyDelete
  9. I can't figure out the code. Is the bird speaking morse code or do I need to convert the chirps into the ratios the computer gave me? I'm totally stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  10. i'm at the same point

    ReplyDelete
  11. i'm at the same point

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hoo Hah if your stuck!

    ReplyDelete
  13. help us with the safe

    ReplyDelete
  14. So who's out already?
You need a hint for the safe? Have a good look at the three notes you find on the laptop and at the painting ...

    ReplyDelete
  15. I did the painting stuff but I am lost now. I have the 3 notes from the computer and the chirping bird. What now?

    ReplyDelete
  16. i'm still lost

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm talking about the painting above the birdcage for the safe ...

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think he means the painting with the 5 orange balls. The three-one-five code may refer to the three ratios given in the 3 files...but what does that have to so with painting...or the scraps of paper. I'm confuuuuuuuuuuuuuuused. but having fun!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Got the white safe open, the code on the computer tells you what orange spots to look at.

    ReplyDelete
  20. can you give one more clue bart

    ReplyDelete
  21. the scraps of paper are how you open the computer files.

    ReplyDelete
  22. what do the orange spots mean

    ReplyDelete
  23. don't search too far for the safe code, it's realy simple

    ReplyDelete
  24. i did 1121 but that didn't work

    ReplyDelete
  25. Orange spots are easy guys I know I was over thinking it. Remember the code on the computer 2:2 1:5 4:9? Think about what that could mean when compared to the orange dots.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Finally! I'm free!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I was thinking it could be 2:1 but when I used that code (6210) it didn't work. Maybe I'm NOT smart enough to escape the room ;p

    ReplyDelete
  28. i dont think i am either

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nice game Bart!
    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  30. bart give us the first number

    ReplyDelete
  31. or an example

    ReplyDelete
  32. no, Bart don't! Let us figure it out.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ok, another hint for the safe :)
    Safecode is four positions, right?
Now have a look at that painting, do you see four positions, with one filled in?
Now have a look at the three notes on the laptop. Can you read them as positions?

    ReplyDelete
  34. i need help with the brown safe

    ReplyDelete
  35. *Spoilers*

2:2 1:5 4:9 The second orange dot is the number 2 that's 2:2. You guys should be able to get it from there.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sweet! Got it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. You kidding me? xd
    A safe in a safe?
No matter! I will finish this game! :D

    ReplyDelete
  38. And out. Thanks for that clue. I was over-thinking it. Nice game, great job! And no parrot this time! =)

    ReplyDelete
  39. bart can we have a hint for the brown box

    ReplyDelete
  40. the brown box answer is given on the computer

    ReplyDelete
  41. okay heres the problem I was over thinking it and now I can't get out of over thinking mode. Same problem I have in math class. Fun game but I might cry.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Out!! thanx for the help!

    ReplyDelete
  43. what about the red box i did the scraps of paper but it didn't work

    ReplyDelete
  44. ** SPOILERS AHEAD!! **

Safe: Look at the painting and the numbers in the computer, It's really simple
Brown box: Take a look at the background of the computer..
Red box: How many times is the bird twittering..? ;)

Really a safe in a safe in a safe? xd Nice game though!

    And out! :D

    ReplyDelete
  45. The computer doesn't have any numbers, except 0-9?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hurray!!! I'm finally out:)
Loved that game, Bart, keep on making them.

    ReplyDelete
  47. *SPOILER*

The scraps of paper are the unlock code for the computer.

The file codes (along with the painting)are the large safe combo.

The computer screen is the code for the brown box.

The bird is the code for the red box.

    ReplyDelete
  48. im either being REALLY stupid or its wrong or something, but i still cant open the white safe.. i thought i had it but what i thought it was seems to be wrong :S good game though :D x

    ReplyDelete
  49. Think of the painting like blanks in a four digit number, only the 3rd blank is filled in...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Very cute game !!
    Thanks Bart :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. That was great fun, Bart. Thank you very much.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Bart, are we allowed to give a full walkthrough?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Out. Thanks to Justin.

    ReplyDelete
  54. please tell me the code to the box :-) i'm sø frustrated

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hint hint hint

    ReplyDelete
  56. think of the : as an =

    ReplyDelete
  57. oh- so easy whem you know it.. :-) good game

    ReplyDelete
  58. **Spoiler**

    52_9 Look at painting

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah. I'm out too. Nice one, kept me busy for quite some time though. The numbers in the laptop-notes really aren't that hard, once I knew I didn't have to do the math... Great game Bart, I always liked your escape games better than the other ones.

  61. Super jeu, Belge en plus ce qui me fait encore plus plaisir, merci et continuez à nous faire des des jeux de cette qualité MERCI

    ReplyDelete
  62. Good game, the white safe took me a little time before I figured it out. The rest where pretty simple. Good game overall though.

    ReplyDelete
  63. And out! Really great game Bart... But thanks for the help... I was over-thinking it...

    ReplyDelete
  64. Refreshing! Couldn't figure out by myself the blue/orange color mix although it was rather fair a puzzle. Couldn't figure the --8- picture neither, but this one was asking for brute force ;>

    ReplyDelete
  65. Thanks for the help Justin, those ratios were the only part that had me completely stumped. :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. after you get past the first safe it get pretty easy

    ReplyDelete
  67. That was totally wicked!

    ReplyDelete

  72. Yay!!! I LOVE THIS ONE!!! It was a complete suprise to come here and see a brand new Bart Bonte original. I can't wait for the next one. Keep up the great game making Bart!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I am out, did it with a little help but without walkthrough.

If someone has a specific question who does not want to read the walkthrough since it probably gives away a bit too much, just ask me.

    ReplyDelete
  74. okay idk if i'm just stupid or not but i can't figure out the red box. i've counted how many times the bird chirps when it lands on each perch but i can't for the life of me figure it out. this is driving me insane. what is it??

    ReplyDelete
  75. Just read the walkthrough. That's why it's there.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Great game! Had to use the commented hint to find out where the third funnel was. *duh Always the last place you look. I actually thought it was in the safe lol

    ReplyDelete
  77. okay well obviously the walkthrough isn't helping me with the bird chirps. because i still don't know what to do. so can someone help please?

    ReplyDelete
  78. great game bart! i needed to use the comments to get the positions - numbers computer hint for the first safe, and to figure out how to make yellow, but after that i got the rest myself. thanks and keep up the great bonte work!

    ReplyDelete
  79. p.s. anonymous: the bird chirps help with the little red safe. if you're still on the white or brown one, look at other comments :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. oh! it's not the number of times the bird makes a sound... it's the little speech bubble he gives once you feed him right using the funnels and liquids! that should help!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Out, but needed lots of help. I brute-forced the funnels, feeding that dang bird every possible combination of zero, one, or two glasses of water in each funnel. (27 combinations, 81 glasses of water). I was cursing the name of Bart when the last combination didn't work either. 8-) Good game - much tougher than I expected. Thanks!

  83. Great game! Loved it! Thanks, Bart.

    ReplyDelete
  84. i dont know if im the only one that realized this or not, and i think you for misguiding me to the exit... but if you cant find the third funnel if you watch the bird blink on the different perches and count it then put those numbers in order by height of the perch it will open the red safe

    ReplyDelete
  85. That was fun! Thanks, Bart!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Fun game!! I wish I could have solved it without a hint. I was getting too hung up on math and ratios.

    ReplyDelete

  88. Really smooth and logical game. Just the right level of difficulty for me - did not end up using hints but I was at the stage of considering it!

    Thanks Bart! Well done.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Nice game! This was fun~

    ReplyDelete
  90. Hey man, how DID the bird get out?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Nice one Bart,
Was able to complete it without a walkthrough. (which is rare lol :))

    ReplyDelete
  92. great escape-game, i really love your page! Eyery day i look for new games and new challenges! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Great Game Bart
    thank You

    ReplyDelete
  96. maybe im just dumb, but i never would have figured out that the painting the 2 dots on top of each other was really an 8...fun game though

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks for this game Bart. It wasn't too hard.
The only hint I need much time to solve was the painting with the ornage dots.

    ReplyDelete
  98. great game once again Bart, nice thinking behind this one x
    Nat Dawn B.

  99. The artwork was beautiful bart. very clean gameplay.

  101. I'm enjoying all bonte games, trying to figure out how to use them with second graders...thanks

    ReplyDelete
  102. its was brill finaly figured out clue for first safe, well done bart another great game

    ReplyDelete
  103. I love the soundtrack - really great stuff

    ReplyDelete
  104. Well done Bart, you had me going for the safe code forever. I tried all my maths knowledge by dividing the numbers and adding them...etc. But it was plain easy...Good game! Ga vooral door met ontsnappingspelletjes, love them!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Bart, could you please put a lock on the bird cage so I can open it and take the bird with me? I tried the key everywhere but Birdie had to be left behind. Very sad :(

    ReplyDelete
  106. YES!!! I got out! It takes a while to understand the codes. Pay attention to the number codes on the computer, they help witht he safe

    ReplyDelete
  107. awesome! but kinda hard...

    ReplyDelete
  108. great game! had some trouble with the white safe but finally got out(:

    ReplyDelete
  109. And out!! Loved it! I liked the safe in a safe in a safe. I don't know why people didn't like that. It's like when you open the biggest present at your birthday party and you keep opening box after box after box till you end up with a ring from a box bigger than your head. est part ever!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Spent a lot of time wondering what kind of "third liquid" I'd find in the red safe . . . Oh, well, at least I got the clues after I figured out the answers. 'Nother swell game, Bart. Keep 'em coming.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Excellent work it took me a few minutes but I figured it out no problem.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Velmi dobrá hra! Velmi chutná!

    ReplyDelete
  113. and OUT!
great game and thanks for the hint =# i really needed them XD

    ReplyDelete
  114. Great game .... the last funnel took a while, but once I found that, I had the code for the small safe and home sweet home ...

    Keep up the good work

    Buzz

    ReplyDelete
  115. I felt so stupid when you guys kept saying to stop over thinking the white safe code with orange painting.

When it clicked in my head what the third number was I felt Sooooo stupid.

It really is much easier than I was making it.

    ReplyDelete
  116. wow brill game new to this so took a while

    ReplyDelete
  117. i finished!!!

    ReplyDelete
  118. I have been saving this game! Very please with my self, only need one tiny hint with the save code!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Well done, Bart. And as usual the music is fabulous

    ReplyDelete
  120. Yay! I've not been on bontegames in forever!
    Great game, Bart! :D

    ReplyDelete
  121. realy really good escape game doable but still tricky - thankyou!

    ReplyDelete
  122. augh...I feel so stupid...I've read the walkthrough, but that doesn't give the code for the red safe...dang red safe. Any good clues for the slow person? :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. yay! that was super fun!!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. Red safe:

Read the "speech" bubble while the bird is tweeting. Count how many times the words are consecutively written. The 3 number code should be obvious now.

Good game, but I miss the parrot =)

    ReplyDelete
  125. Just finished it. The number codes were easy IMO, but I was kind of annoyed that I needed to browse these comments to get one hint: Yellow.

Orange juice diluted with water is NOT yellow! I would have never guessed that on my own. I was looking around for a lemon somewhere. Once I read that part, the rest was cake.

Other than that, very good escape. :)

    ReplyDelete
  126. A nice escape game but for real puzzle lovers the room is not that strange ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  127. Just finished the new game! I love that it's just hard enough to be a challenge, but not so difficult that I have to abandon it. Great game Bart!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Loved the game, only took 10 mins though so not that tough. All you need is in plain sight. Thanks Bonte

    ReplyDelete
  129. j'ai beaucoup chercher et j'avoue que le 3eme entonnoir sous la cage j'aurais pas trouver sans les commentaires... sinon le reste tout seul, bah... c'etait pas de la tarte !!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Loved the game Bart... The sign of a great puzzle is when you finally understand the solution, it's easier and more obvious than you originally thought. Great puzzle = only obvious in hindsight.

I liked the nested safes. That was amusing. The computer folders got me scared, I did a whole map of the folder tree. :-)

Thanks again... This is among the best constructed escape games!

    ReplyDelete
  131. Funny enough! I also got confused with the painting with the orange dots. The other clues were quite normal.

    I really enjoyed!
    Greetings from greece

    ReplyDelete
  132. out ;)
    haaha managed it at last!!

    ReplyDelete
  133. i have to say that game was very fun and quite hard but it was so simple at the same time xD I hope you make a sequel but all that for a key? :P uh well it was quite fun

    ReplyDelete
  134. Thank you Bart, I really enjoyed your game. Can't wait to see the next one - would love another escape game please!?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Awesome game! Thanks, Bart!

    ReplyDelete
  136. nice game Bart.

  137. Cool game Bart .. as usual !!

  139. omg!!!!!!!! it took meh like 4 hours just 2 work out wat the number on tht painting was!!! im sooo thick

    ReplyDelete
  140. Once you get the white safe open everything makes sense, it's the white safe that i couldn't figure out on my own. And the yellow water but thats just because I was lazy

    ReplyDelete
  141. What could be done with the computer? It only show the digits from 0 to 9, but can't press them or anything like that... so?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Last Anonymous:

It does not "physically" show when you push the buttons on the computer. You need to click them with your mouse arrow/hand. The buttons look always the same, before and while and after pushing/clicking them.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Ahhh, I really like your games Bart! It looks simple but sometimes you have to think a little bit harder. Safe inside of a safe was a good idea! Will be looking forward to your next game ^^

    ReplyDelete
  144. I am happy that you wrote this post :D

    ReplyDelete
  145. I clicked on the ad next to it by accident, which ended my game. It'd be good if this ad opened in a new window.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Great Game! For your next game, can you make another room excape game? Thanks!

    ~roomexcaper

    ReplyDelete
  147. That was fun. It took me a while to realize the yellow was a mixture of the orange and water. I was stuck on the idea that the little plant somehow made a pineapple :-). I was pouring orange juice and water in it and it wasn't doing anything. :)

    ReplyDelete
  148. nice and fun (and thanks for helping me)!
