ghostscape 2: the cabin

There's a cabin deep in the woods that is rumoured to be haunted by a very evil spirit. Enter ghostscape 2: the cabin, Psionic's latest point and click game, that is, if you dare...

  5. People like #3 are the very reason that I wont allow my kids on this site

  6. Your kids will learn that word no matter what you do now.

  7. I loved that word, too. I miss it now.

I must say I support a decision by parents to keep their small children off this site so they won't be exposed to casual swearing by adults.

Most the games here are way to complex for the under-7 crowd anyway.

  8. Dear Bart, as promised earlier I played the game around midnight today and it was freaky. I was home alone and put the speaker out loud. Great game.

  9. 361800 points, I wasted all my time searching for a sixth sphere because I was too stupid to look at out the door paintings first...

  13. Creepy game.
I can't find one pile of dirt and one bundle of evidence.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think there's a pile of dirt right at the beginning. I don't know where the other evidence though.

  17. parents worried about the comment: what i would be worried about is why your kid would be playing this game

  19. the blade isn't in the campsite and returning to the old man is the last thing to do.

  20. has anyone else run into a glitch with the metal detector? it won't let me put it "away" -- i can pick up the shovel but the graphic shows both toools and the shovel won't work. i have tried the game on Safari & Firefox on a Mac and Firefox and IE on a PC. Grrrr. can't get past this bug.

  23. I really want to play this game because i LOOVVVEEEEE scary/creepy stuff, but i hate jump scares. how bad are the jump scares?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jump scare??? great game

  25. It's okay, but like the little "scary" scenes that pop up have nothing to do with what is happening sometimes. like i picked up this hat thing and the scene with the hand came up, but where did that happen at? i was by the toilet or something. the free ice cream game was scarier lol.

    6/10 stars

  26. OK so did the stuff not jump out really suddenly? how did it compare to the ghost that jumped out of the closet in Ghostscape 1?

    ReplyDelete
  27. i never played that one i think. do they do the same thing on that one?

    ReplyDelete
  28. GS1 has a scary pop out of one of the wardrobes upstairs. i don't think anything else jumped out at me bad enough to scare me. even the end ghost wasn't bad. and i think everything is bad so when i say it's not it's really not.

  29. FINALLY worked up the nerve...i played on mute, and there were 4 jump scenes. none of them were bad. they were less scary than the one in GS1. overall, i thought this game was amazing and it had a great storyline. it was super-creepy and unnerving, but if you hate jump scares you can still play it. just keep the sound off ;)
