Yup, needs a taste more thought than the first one. Can't figure out where to use the packet of...tissues?

I thought of that item more as a moist towelette... Maybe something needs to be *cleaned* a little?

I always like these games.

Thanks, K. Got it now. I wasn't paying attention.
Pleasant little game. Funkyland is always good.

This one was fairly easy in my opinion, but definitely fun!
I am kind of disappointed about how funkyland seems to aim for a very stereotypical and simplified image of femininity with these games though.

Good as always

I am with Jana, there is much more to being a woman than make-up. Hopefully they will do some less stereotypical themes.

It's an escape game. Y'all are overthinking this. Really.

I agree with Jana and Lady White Rose, the game needs a jackhammer in the corner, and some riot gear in the closet, and maybe some monster truck videos on the shelves.

@Modern Femininity: was that sarcasm really necessary. Yeah of course a normal person totally owns all that stuff you listed, har har.
Adding some colours other than pink and putting some books on the shelves or maybe a basketball in the corner really wouldn't hurt. But apparently anything that's not filled with cutesy stuff and makeup would be a boy's room or something. It's not a problem if a girl's room is shown the way it is in this game on occasion, but it is sort of problematic when it becomes a constant pattern.

@Jana - You might try to remember that Funkyland's creator is not an American and isn't really interested in American gender role politics. In Japan, "girly" couture is viewed as a sort of cosplay. Would it have offended you less if the title had been "girly room"? Because that's probably what was meant.

@Anonymous 06:01 - I wasn't even offended, I just expressed slight disappointment. The only offensive thing was that one person's reaction. Many people fail to realize that it is completely possible to enjoy something, and still be critical of certain aspects it entails. I didn't expect my short comment to spark such reactions.
I'm not American either, but I guess you were referring to western culture in general. I am aware that Japanese culture functions differently - there is a much higher standard of femininity there, and girls who don't fulfill it are often told that they are "not real women" or "unworthy of a relationship". What you were referring to was probably Lolita? Because "Lolita room" would probably be more fitting for this. But as I previously mentioned, I didn't mean to say that this is all awful or anything like that, I was just trying to inspire some slightly critical thinking.
