Am I the only one that presses the obvious buttons, realizes nothing is happening, trys a few more times, gets mad and quits?

MAD_SKILLZ: that's why they invented walkthroughs! (so the easily frustrated people like you and i can still finish the game!) ;) :)

Got out. A bit challenging - needed to draw a simple map to keep track of the accessible rooms in the different worlds.

If something has no obvious effect, the best thing to do is move on and come back to it later. Often there will be some clue that pulls it all together. I was able to get out without too much difficulty that way - no need for a walkthrough. But I suspect I may have missed some "secrets" along the way (plus I ended up with an item that I never used). I may try again to see if I can find something I missed the first time through.

Actually Jessica, I did use a walkthrough after I posted that, it helped me realize you could access more than one room from the start haha.

Trying not to use the walk through... very frusterating.

Clicking random things worked for me... I havn't made it through yet. I wouldn't recomend to click randomly though.

Anyways this is a great game, very confusing though.

These are the best. I hate them! I am so stuck. But I'll spend hours before I quit. I wish more of the games were like this. Although I do miss Minoto...

Awesome.. needed a bit of help.. sketch maps was my breakthru too.. anyone else convinced they needed to get thru the hatch top-right of level 6?..

Great. Really great, as the previous ones.
It is a pity I am a bum unable to give him two bucks. He totally deserved them.

I have been waiting for him to continue this series. It is always so intriguing in the peculiar puzzles and how he has created such a strange world. I really enjoyed working out this one and needed no walk-through. The way you need to go to other places to move around the one you want with the overlaying maps was a neat touch. I do not feel, though I made it through the door that I finished as I still have a button that did not do anything and will go back and replay it.

Yeah, I found two secrets but that doesn´t change the end ;)
Did anyone find more?

I completed the game the "normal" way (left through the door in the fifth alternate reality (V)), But I can't help but wonder:
1: in II, if you activate all the buttons on the screen, you get some weird message. A clue perhaps?
2: in III (the red world), in the lowest spot, there is some kind of dome. Can you open it in any way, or is it just a red herring?

Isi said...

@ anon above me: you can destroy the dome thing with the hammer; there´s no red hering just a green pearl :)

Ahhh...it glitched twice on me, when I picked up one of the curved pieces I couldn't put it back in the inventory. Grrr..I'm not starting again, and I had made it to the 5th world and placed the mirror and the pyramid piece. Dang it!

This is the second time it has stuck on me after picking up a curved peice. This is aggravating to say the least. Can this bug be fixed? Or is there some way to unfreeze it. I'm already on the fifth world and have placed the pyramid and the mirror. Sounds like I'm not the only one to experience this problem.

Is there any way of saving progress? I can't find it and don't have the time to sit through all the way to the end in one sitting...
:)

You can only save your progress if you buy the HD version. Best to try again when you have time ;p

Thanks for sharing this with us, Bart!

It only takes about half an hour to play through.

You can smash the dog with the hammer, and drop the stone button in the pillar. Any other secrets?

At the end the menu has a 'secrets hub' with one message. Is that all?

Thanks, k. I think I'll get the HD version :)

Bart, I just want to say thanks for the research and pointing out the awesome games! This website is such a great way for me to wind down from the high stress job I have. I look forward to updates every week. If at some point you need to somehow start asking for some money you have my full support. Just had to say that. Thanks again. Now on to the game, I bought the HD version and it is great!
